Two Men Dressed as Women Ram Their Vehicle into Gate at NSA Headquarters

Officials don’t believe this was terrorism:

One man is dead and another severely injured after gunfire erupted today at one of the main gates of the National Security Agency located at Fort Meade, Maryland.
Shortly before 9 a.m. ET, a vehicle with two people inside “attempted an unauthorized entry at a National Security Agency gate,” according to a statement from the NSA.
“The driver failed to obey an NSA Police officer’s routine instructions for safely exiting the secure campus,” the statement continued. “The vehicle failed to stop and barriers were deployed.”
Sources say the two inside were men dressed as women. Preliminary information indicated the two men were partying at an area hotel with a third individual when they took that individual’s car without permission. However, it’s still unclear how or why they ended up at the NSA gate.
A law enforcement source confirmed that the car that crashed at NSA was reported stolen in Howard County, Maryland.
Nevertheless, when the vehicle “accelerated toward an NSA police car blocking the road” and “refused to stop,” an NSA police officer opened fire, and one of the two men inside the “unauthorized vehicle” ended up dead, the NSA statement said. The other man in the vehicle was “severely injured” and taken to a local hospital, according to sources.

    Two men dressed as women crashing a car into a gate – think about it!

    I believe further investigation will reveal that they were dressed as Bette Davis and Joan Crawford.

    This attack was a drag-queen remake of “Whatever Happened To Baby Jane?”

    Booze may have been involved, but I can’t see it being sufficient. I once dressed in drag for Halloween, but that’s on the other side of the year, and I couldn’t possibly drink enough to do something as nuts as this without being too impaired to do it. Something else was going on.

    What I’m curious about is how the NSA came to be at a fort. I mean, it’s a rational choice if you want maximum security, but I thought they were a civilian agency.

    Like most things, that reminds me of a story.

    In high school, me and some friends got together for a costumed Halloween party. Our town was kind of smallish at the time, houses were spread out, and not necessarily clearly marked.

    One guy dressed in drag: dress, heels, crappily dude-drawn makeup, enormous pocketbook and hairy legs in stockings. Carrying a 12-pack of Miller in bottles. (Drinking age 18 at the time, and we all were, as far as you can prove at this point.).

    Really funny. Or, it was, till he shows up at the wrong house.

    This house was having a Bible study led by their church pastor. Guy in drag gets there, knocks, and they let him in. Everyone was looking around uncomfortably, but they didn’t want to be rude to Drag Dude. Probably figured the poor guy could use a Bible study.

    After a little while, Drag Dude asks, “Is this Kim’s house?” With a huge sigh of relief, the pastor says, “Kim lives next door.” And that’s how Drag Dude came to show up late with the beer.

    I was an equal offender in college. I enjoyed tweaking liberals’ noses with my political incorrectness, and then I turned around and subverted drag traditions by actually trying to be as realistic as possible. A couple of lady friends helped me, one of whom was nearly the same size, and so my costume was basically that of a hairy hippy chick who thought that autumn was a good time for a sundress.

    I still don’t understand how women can tolerate underwires. High heels just took some practice, but the bra was ouch!

    They started as a Military crypto unit, and pretty much haven’t moved. IIRC, the Director is ususally a flag officer.
