Errors of Logic and Rhetoric
Posted on | May 9, 2018 | 1 Comment
Robyn Pennacchia condemns “male privilege”:
Women are also rejected. Women also spend their teen years pining after dreamy boys who will never love them back. You don’t see us going around murdering people over it. You don’t see us setting up internet communities for the purpose of talking about how evil and shallow men are for not taking us to pound town. Women don’t go around killing men who don’t like them, because if you’re a woman in this society, a boy not liking you is the least of your problems. It is nowhere near the shittiest thing you’re going to be expected to “just deal with” in your life — one of those things being the fact that we are expected to “just deal with” how men are sometimes going to murder a bunch of people because they felt entitled to romantic attention from women. We are expected to “deal with” that, while never bringing up the terms “male privilege” or “male entitlement” or “toxic masculinity” and why those things so often lead to mass murder, on account of how that might really hurt the feelings of the men who have been gracious enough to not go on killing sprees. . . .
You can read the whole thing. Let me ask the commenters to discuss the flaws in Ms. Pennacchia’s logic and rhetoric. While I could do this at length — her errors are obvious to me — there are other things I’d like to accomplish today, and I get tired of explaining what’s wrong with the feminist rhetoric of “equality.” So have at it, readers, and please remember to check your spelling and grammar. No point bothering to “check your privilege,” feminists hate you no matter what you say or do.

Obama’s Legacy Is Still Kicking

As I stand adjacent the crater
Of “Obama’s legacy”, who’s the debater,
Saying that No-Talent Rodeo Clown
Sought to bring us ought but down?
Call him “idealist”; call him “naive”;
Call him “brilliant”: did he deceive?
Or was he as honest as they get:
Postmodernists against the simple truth bet.
Who say “It is all just so much baloney.
Fake it until you are no longer phony.”
Falsehood is a tactical call,
A lying Lucy teeing a ball.
And Charlie, be he white or Brown,
Simpleton running, bearing down,
Kicks and misses, cratering, then,
Strategically blaming others again.
‘Too Valuable’

Eric Schneiderman (right) poses with other sleazy Democrats.
Another “progressive” Democrat is exposed as a vile scumbag:
New York State attorney general Eric Schneiderman has resigned, just hours after it was reported that he had been accused of violent assaults on women he had dated. These allegations, which include threats that Schneiderman made to stalk and kill the women if they told on him, came as a shock — except to anyone who has followed his career in politics. Schneiderman’s louche ethics have been well known. You didn’t need an “in” at Albany watering holes; just reading the newspapers would have told you plenty.
In 2010, when Schneiderman first ran for statewide office, he was involved in a hit-and-run accident. Then a state senator, he claimed to have been a passenger in his own car when his 22-year-old staffer Rachel Kagan — niece of Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan — smashed into a parked car and drove away, after causing $3,000 worth of damage. A passerby witnessed the crash and wrote down Schneiderman’s license plate. Schneiderman later told the owner of the parked car that he “disciplined the staffer,” and offered to pay for the damage, though his office insisted that it was “outrageous” to call the incident a hit-and-run.
Schneiderman later had a brush with trouble regarding his close relations with prominent Hasidic businessman Moshe Stern, the federal government’s chief informant in a major 2013 corruption case involving former state senate president Malcolm Smith. . . .
In 2014, when Schneiderman ran for reelection, Randy Credico, a comedian and New York City gadfly who perennially runs for local office on the issue of drug legalization, alleged that he had sniffed cocaine with Schneiderman, then a state senator, in the back of a bar. Schneiderman denied it, admitting to having used marijuana and cocaine up until 1998, but Credico insisted that Schneiderman was doing “bumps” of white powder with him and a group of others. Given the reports from women he dated and beat that Schneiderman was a raging alcoholic who would routinely bring a bottle of scotch to bed, Credico’s story sounds more credible.
Plenty of hints existed, then, that Schneiderman’s public image was not the whole story. And there were rumors about his private life, too, as suggested by President Trump’s 2013 tweet, “Weiner is gone, Spitzer is gone—next will be lightweight A.G. Eric Schneiderman. Is he a crook? Wait and see, worse than Spitzer or Weiner.”
But Schneiderman was such an exemplar of a progressive-activist hero — suing Exxon, working in concert with Robert Mueller to obtain pardon-proof convictions against Trump associates, speaking at the Women’s March — that people who probably knew better looked away from evidence of his wrongdoing. Even the closest friends of one of Schneiderman’s victims encouraged her not to speak out, “arguing that Schneiderman was too valuable a politician for the Democrats to lose.”
(Hat-tip: Instapundit on Twitter.)
"Schneiderman’s activism on behalf of feminist causes has increasingly won him praise from women’s groups." NEVER TRUST A MALE FEMINIST! https://t.co/rEp4WY5Ona

Notorious Transgender Activist Compares Feminist Critics to Drug Addicts
Posted on | May 7, 2018 | 1 Comment
Feminist critics of transgenderism are “dogmatic” and debating them is “pointless,” according to Char Vortryss, a member of a controversial group that will hold a panel Saturday at the San Francisco Public Library.
“Until you come to understand that your dogma is harmful [and] decide to find another way, ‘debate’ is pointless,” Vortryss said in a Twitter thread. “It’s like with an addict. Interventions don’t work. You gotta find your own bottom, decide on your own that you’ve had enough [and] want to change for the better. Until then, all we can do is protect ourselves from the harm you’re trying to cause.”
A male-to-female transgender also known as “Char the Butcher,” Vortryss became notorious for having the slogan “Die Cis Scum” tattooed on his/“her” arm, posing with a baseball bat in a photo that was perceived by many as a threat to feminist critics of transgenderism.
“Cis” is the antonym of “trans.” Disparaging biological women as “cis scum” was part of a long-running conflict between transgender activists and critics they call “TERFs” (trans-exclusive radical feminists).
Last month, the San Francisco Public Library announced that it had made changes to an exhibit by Vortryss’s group, the Degenderettes, after complaints from patrons about “artwork that could be interpreted as promoting violence.” Among the exhibits in the Degenderettes display was a blood-stained T-shirt with the slogan, “I punch TERFs.”
The Degenderettes library exhibit (above) included a T-shirt by Mya Byrne (below).
The feminist blog Gender Trender pointed out that the shirt displayed in the library exhibit had been worn at the San Francisco Pride Parade by Degenderettes member, 40-year-old “Mya Byrne.” A folk singer formerly known as Jeremiah Birnbaum, Byrne was criticized in 2015 for “misogyny” after publishing a poem about the adolescent experience of masturbating while wearing his/“her” sister’s underwear.
Warning against “a crazy-ass woman-hating subculture of straight men who identify as transwomen and . . . call themselves TransDykes,” the Gender Trender blog condemned Byrne as part of a movement of “deranged” heterosexual men who advocate “violence against women.”
Char Vortryss is the transgender alias of 34-year-old Clinton James Crawford, who in February 2017 was one of three people granted petitions by a San Francisco judge “to change their gender to ‘non-binary’ — meaning they are legally neither male nor female” according to California courts. Vortryss’s spouse Xin Farrish is also “non-binary.” Vortryss concluded his/“her” Twitter thread by announcing a panel the Degenderettes will host Saturday at the San Francisco library.
Vortryss linked a Facebook announcement that included this:
Furthermore, the exhibition of art created by the Degenderettes at the Hormel Center has been subject to a misinformation campaign run by trans-exclusionary radical feminists (TERFs) and far-right extremists. Pieces of the exhibit have been decontextualized and misrepresented in order to draw negative attention to both the Degenderettes and the San Francisco Public Library. The talk-back will feature moderation and steps will be taken to ensure the safety of attendees, but it is important for us to note that there may be greater attention on the event due to the above.
Transgender activists have done more that merely threaten their feminist critics with violence. Last year, 60-year-old Maria Maria MacLachlan was attacked by a transgender activist in London’s Hyde Park, an incident that made international headlines. More recently, British police have investigated “hate speech” accusations against feminists, including long-time lesbian activist Linda Bellos, who was “interviewed under caution” last month for remarks she made at a November event.
