CPAC Update: Finally Connected

The National Harbor venue is a real plus up. Tea Party News Network is fronting the WiFi, which is great, since somehow my 4G services aren’t working here (!!?!). Much more spacious. The exhibit floor does not feel like a sauna.

Norquist’s panel “AAA America: Could a Federal Balanced Budget Amendment Save America From Congress?” is highly Constitutional, sober, and well-worth publicizing. I’ll have to locate it online later and update this post. Panelists include:

You want to know why I’m here? Stuff like this.

I’m sure Norquist’s associates all feel much more comfortable without Pamela Geller, Robert Spencer, or anyone else willing to point out their connections, eh?

I support Norquist’s positions on spending and fiscal maters. I do not care if he is pro-Muslim or Palestinian (and disagreeing with specific positions he endorses does not make me anti Muslim or anti Palestinian), but just be up front about it. Why vilify Geller and Spencer when the better approach would be a free and frank exchange of ideas and positions?

It’s not so much that Norquist is ‘pro-Muslim or Palestinian’, but that he provides aid and comfort to our Mohammedin enemies [I know: I repeat myself]. Might as well say it: Norquist is a traitor to The West.

On the money Bob. It’s interesting to note there are no followers of Mohammad in either purgatory or Heaven … where could they all be?

Norquist is a first-class idiot. Take for example the question – from Steffi, I think – at one of the debates in our primary season: If a compromise were put forward $10 in verified spending cuts for every $1 of new taxes, could you agree to it?

The fact is that they all HAD to say no, solely due to Norquist’s toxic influence with his nonsense “pledge.”

His ties to people and organizations who support terrorists are well established, as well, and have been for years. No one else could get away with as much on the Republican side, but he has people afraid of him. That isn’t healthy.
