    To answer your question in a roundabout way…

    The Left and GOP Establishment underestimated Ronald Reagan. This worked to his advantage throughout his political career.

    In the Left’s eyes, we are all Reagan’s now.

    That is to our advantage. Don’t disabuse them of the notion. In fact, do what you can to encourage them in their misunderstanding.

    * Smart as a 1/32nd Cherokee
    * Smart enough to be Editor of Harvard Law Review
    * The Romney campaign is over!

    As the Blogfather noted this morning, over the last 20 years or so, the decline in critical thinking skills in his students has been marked. Government schooling is preparing a population of mind-numbed drones to support a socialist state.

    If we do not get the federal government OUT of the school business soon, the future is bleak indeed.

    It’s a devastatingly effective ad. All except the grinning Romney at the end. Totally clashes with the entire message.

    Which is pretty fecking ironic, considering the ed schools have been all about teaching “critical thinking” instead of “rote memorization” for the last 40 years, at least. Doesn’t do much good to teach critical thinking if kids don’t know basic skills like reading.
