New Cain Campaign Video: ‘Put an Executive in the Executive Office’

The Herman Cain campaign today released a new online video focusing on job creation and economic issues:

A press release (see full text below) from the campaign called the video a “new Iowa ad,” although the length — 51 seconds instead of 30 seconds — would make it incompatible with standard broadcast requirements. The statement from campaign spokesman J.D. Gordon did not include any specifics about when or in what venues the video might be aired.

Campaign Moves Forward

It’s time to draw a line in the sand.
While the Obama Administration sits on the sidelines, and Congress gets nothing done to help end this crippling recession, Republican candidate for president, Herman Cain, is traveling the country, spreading his vision to jump-start the economy and create a climate where businesses can grow and produce.

    They seem in control to me.  He stated facts, and how he felt about those facts.

    Considering how long he was strung along, I’d say he’s been rather restrained.

    Ladd is confusing business with his need for affirmation.

    If Ladd stuck to his original story…I would have nothing to say….but all the subsequent insults….yea….I’m going to address that…

    They seem to watch the posts here (see: updated http://www.hermancain.com).

    That RSM doesn’t get a phone call or email everyday…that they don’t do everything RSM says to do…not causing me to tear up.

    RSM is having an impact on the Cain campaign.

    And Cain was juggling a marriage, multiple corporate headships, stage 4 cancer, chemo and radiation therapy.  Didn’t I see a “Love, American Style” episode about that?

    Nothing in the ABC report indicates that White was in a lesbian affair with Vay, and I don’t see where that Examiner columnist got such an idea.

    White and Vay were business partners, and that partnership ended badly, but there wasn’t a word indicating that either White or Vay were lesbians.

    kbob  since i haven’t really expressed my conservative values how would you know?Also, why the concern you ask?In listening to limbaugh and levin they are arguing against all the infighting going on in the media ,new and mainstream. I agree. that’s all.

    I figured it was an addition to the story.  Since the ABC story was the one being requoted everywhere…the Examiner seems to be adding new information.

    You may be right, and I have no problem being wrong about it.

    Drive-by insults to a guy who is down for the cause are not something you’re gonna read about in Burke, Goldwater, Kirk, or Buckley. It’s not a conservative value.

    You and CPAguy are way over-reacting to Ladd. He’s not just some random commenter with a bad attitude, he’s someone that has a legitimate complaint. Which both of you dismiss. Reminds me of all the folks who dismissed Palin’s reasons for stepping down. It’s a lack of bothering to put yourself in their place.

    Most of us can accept LE’s comments without treating them like they’re from some blog operator who’s secretly in the bag for another candidate. Cain’s campaign made several mistakes that they’ll probably fix. Don’t pretend those mistakes had no consequence.

    Cain may still be in it. Hell, Ladd might decide to vote for the guy anyway. But it’s silly to tell him to “get over it.” You could instead “get over it” and find something more important to discuss.
