Raaaaacist Tea Parties: The Frankenstein Vampire Werewolf Zombie Argument

A post by Sooper Mexican, who is a jolly hoot on Twitter, BTW, makes an interesting point about raaaaacism.
As we get nearer the 2012 election, and the Obama administration gets more desperate, we’re going to see more of the racecard accusations against the GOP and the Tea Party in order to shore up the 81% support from African-Americans, which has fallen from 95%.
This serves a triple purpose – to pacify African-American anger at the fact that their unemployment is reaching crisis levels, to re-direct that anger from rightfully criticizing the failing policies of the Obama administration, and to falsely accuse the greatest enemy of the Left, the Tea Party.
Sooper’s post, to summarize, pokes a hole in the Left’s logic by noting that, while approval of the Tea Parties varies widely across the several states, the black/white unemployment ratio holds unexpectedly constant. That is, if Tea Party racism were prevalent, we might expect to see black unemployment higher in states where the Tea Party is popular.
I’d like to come at the point that the Left is full of hooey from a Veterans angle, if I may. The military both offers a reasonable cross-section of American society, and I can tell you from a personal experience since 1987, really doesn’t care AT ALL about your ethnicity. I mean that at the actual unit level. Go watch Restrepo. It’s folks from all over who are more concerned with not eating a Taliban bullet than fretting about whose great-grandfather did what to whom. That is the reality.
Also anecdotally, the percentage of Tea Partiers who are veterans is quite high. I’ll venture, without backup, that somewhere between a quarter and a half of people at Tea Party events have supported and defended the Constitution of the United against all enemies, foreign and domestic.
And yet, this Administration has officially viewed military veterans as right-wing extremists. This is essentially a code word for Nazis, since smearing conservatives with the fascist brush has been a long-term project of the Left. Lefties who object to that point are welcome to try to come up with counter-arguments.
Summarizing:
- The military is a representative sample of America, and raaaaacism is something that has been minimized.
- Veterans have actively been demonized by the Administration.
- The Tea Parties have a substantial military presence.
- The Tea Parties are being attacked as raaaaacist.
- It is strongly dissonant, and nearly contradictory, to assert that people who’ve devoted chunks of their lives (temporally and occasionally physically) defending liberty would suddenly condone or engage in raaaaacist activities.
- Conclusion: the Left is wrong, insulting, and dishonorable. Furthermore, this insult continues to be recycled, in the utter absence of factual basis.
There doesn’t seem to be a lot of hope for a change in the Left’s tone, either. Speaking only for myself, and not for the rest of the military, I’m at the point where I view these guys like flag burners. I’m protecting their Constitutional privelege to distort the truth mercilessly. They can say whatever they want here on Earth. They can recycle deceit endlessly, like cheap moster movie villains. One day, in the fulness of time, they will meet the Almighty.

“There doesn’t seem to be a lot of hope for a change in the Left’s tone, either.”
I’d say there’s a zip to nada chance for a hope of change. Earlier today, I would have said “Low”, but then I read this.

Spot on, Smitty. I’d put it a rung lower than flag burning, though.

I stand ready to do my duty. Raaaaacists! There I feel better already.

[…] Tea Party people like myself are working hard to reduce the regulatory strangleholds that cost jobs. We are working toward a sensible tax system and budget that provides the items what we need, identifies those we don’t, and ensures that earners are rewarded for hard work and those people who are truly in need are cared for. Given our goals, I would say Tea Party people care more for the constituents of race-baiting politicians than their representatives. […]

They pushed the racist line so far and so hard that now some Democrats are starting to extrapolate their own bs into this bit of magical thinking: “If racists white voters won’t vote to reelect Barack Obama, we must replace him on the ticket with that white woman, Hillary Clinton.”

The ERA of WHITE GUILT is Officially OVER!!!

Something Jim DeMint said tonight is telling about this strategy. He mentioned that the forum he hosted in SC over the weekend is being characterized as a “Tea Party” forum. Now DeMint is a TP hero but this event had nothing to do with it. It appears that part of the current plan is to make everything “Republican” tea party. I suspect the Bolshevik press and their fellow travelers have decided that recent polls indicating falling public support for the Tea Party shall be their salvation. I suspect this will backfire in the long run due to their lack of agility and the difficulties in appealing in purely emotional attacks. Many, particularly young people may fall for this but eventually this argument will appear to be that all white people are raaaaacists.
As for myself I am proud to be a “Barbarian Tea Party Freedom Fighter SOB”.

Smitty, you rawk. Well said.
BTW, time for a new pic of WYB.

Thanks for the mention! I wanna add – it’s the same dissonance that somehow believes the same country that overcame it’s racism to vote for Barack in 2008 is the same racist-soaked country that produced the Tea Party in opposition. Will they ever be able to admit that at some point, Americans reject his failed policies? Probably not till the end of days…

Indeed, if only we could make everything Republican become Tea Party.

Nice work, Smitty, bless you for saying what needs to be said.

Great post, Smitty.
In order of deplorableness:
1. Flag burning.
2. JournoList-style hate/smear campaigns.
3. Giving someone three kittens for a “gift.”

Progressives define intellectual laziness. Same shtick, new day. Back in 1987, it was Barry Obama protesting nukes and Iran-Contra and Strangelovian military leaders hellbent on nuclear armegeddon.
Now its President Obama protesting energy, helping the Iranians, and wondering while all the folks in uniform aren’t so willing to support his half-assed military adventurisms.

As to the Black vote dropping from 96% (racist) to 81% (racist), not to worry, by November next year it will be 147%!
