Maybe Stacy McCain’s Sports Career Still Has Potential

Moore, a 61 year-old Vietnam veteran, will kick this fall for Faulkner University, a small Christian school in Montgomery, Ala., 43 years after his initial college career was cut short by Vietnam. When he takes the field against Ave Maria on Sept. 10, Moore will be the oldest player ever to take the field for a four-year university.

After all, a sports career would get him off the hook for bowing to Knoxville, TN five times a day.

    Speaking of sports, Drudge posted a link to a story about Sarah Palin running unannounced in a half-marathon in Iowa: “PALIN RUNS!”

    Reminds me that this is also the age of viagra. (I’m still astonished it’s covered under insurance.)

    It seems just another way to keep people fixated on earlier stages of life activity. 

    Do guys talk about such things?

    I mean, what did 60-70-80 year-old men do before they found a way to ‘get it up’ synthetically?

    Did they still think about sex, and lament that couldn’t get physically aroused?

    Some of us in the higher age ranges, you may be surprised to hear, don’t have any reason to lament, or any reason to take those overpriced peen pills.

    Why are you speculating on the arousal potential of older men?  One would expect that a “progressive” such as yourself, living for the pleasures of the moment, would have at least some personal experience in this matter, rendering speculation immaterial. 

    Unless, of course, all your nattering about this particular contact sport has been all hype.  Which would take away yet a few more bricks from your facade.
