News Flash: Feminists Hate Men

Sunday, I took notice of a controversy at Columbia University, where feminists tore down posters announcing a scheduled Nov. 1 speech by Christina Hoff Sommers. In researching this incident, I discovered that Columbia senior Roya Hegdahl had incited hatred against Dr. Sommers by labeling her a “rape culture denier.”
Well, who is this person?
The “personal is political,” as feminists say, and so I wondered who Roya Hegdahl is and what her motive might be for attacking Dr. Sommers:
Roya Hegdahl is a radical feminist and a senior at Columbia University. How radical is she? Four years ago, as a high school senior, she won a scholarship to Netroots Nation. She worked as a volunteer for the left-wing pro-abortion candidate Darcy Burner in the 2012 congressional campaign.
“Darcy Burner asked the audience to hold their applause for a minute and have any woman who has had an abortion and was comfortable expressing it openly to stand up in the audience. Moments later, she asked everyone who will stand with them in support to stand up as well and nearly every person in the room stood up. It was a really beautiful moment.”
Roya Hegdahl hates babies so much she applauds abortion as “beautiful.”
Never talk to a feminist. I keep explaining this, but many young guys don’t seem to get it. If a woman expresses a sadistic glee about dead babies, if she is enthusiastically pro-abortion — and Darcy Burner’s speech “nearly brought me to tears,” Roya Hegdahl says — shouldn’t you consider her emotionally unbalanced? Isn’t there something profoundly wrong with her? . . .
Read the whole thing at Medium. Parents really need to warn their children about this dangerous ideology. The idea of “equality” may seem harmless — who can be against “equality”? — but when you step back and ask yourself what “equality” means, and what measures might be enacted in pursuit of such a vague policy goal, you perceive the need for caution. And if you then take a critical look at feminist rhetoric, real danger becomes obvious. Our society has arguably gone too far in the direction of “equality,” and we may have already passed the Point of No Return. How will you protect your children from the toxic influence of feminism? Parents need to think very hard about that, before it’s too late.
