Say what you will about Slate, this interactive graphic of Super PAC spending is fascinating, revealing and easy to use. That’s one to bookmark until November.
You can pick a date to see the totals for and against each candidate by then, the lines get thicker as more money runs down that pipe between PAC and candidate — green for support, red for oppose — and you can pause it to click on a bubble for details.
You can also highlight a PAC to see its spending lines for and against various candidates, or highlight a candidate to see the spending lines for and against them by various PACs. Very illuminating.
