Hillary Is Lying, People Are Dying

Then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s embassy in Tripoli, Libya, warned State Department officials in Washington, D.C., not to blame the Youtube video, Innocence of Muslims, for the Benghazi terrorist attack.
The House Benghazi Committee released a new email Saturday that a Tripoli embassy official sent to Clinton’s underlings in Washington, D.C., on September 14, 2012, two days before Susan Rice appeared on Sunday talk shows to use the administration’s “video” talking point.
“Colleagues, I mentioned to [redacted] this morning, and want to share with all of you, our view at Embassy Tripoli that we must be cautious in our local messaging with regard to the inflammatory film trailer, adapting it to Libyan conditions,” the official wrote.
You can read the whole thing. The official in Tripoli told the State Department that it was “increasingly clear that the series of events in Benghazi was much more terrorist attack than a protest which escalated into violence,” and warned against conflating the simultaneous protests in Egypt with “this well-planned attack by militant extremists” in Libya. What this email shows is that Clinton cannot plausibly claim she believed the lies about the Benghazi attack that she and others (including Susan Rice) promoted in the days after Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans were killed on Sept. 11, 2012.
The Benghazi cover-up was necessary, first of all, to protect Obama’s re-election campaign message that, with the death of Osama bin Laden, the threat of Islamic terrorism had been defeated. By deliberately lying — portraying the Benghazi attack as a protest against a YouTube video — Clinton sought to reverse the meaning of this event, creating the false impression that right-wing “Islamophobia” was a greater threat than radical Islam itself. Furthermore, there is clear evidence that what happened at Benghazi was a consequence of U.S. covert operations to influence the so-called “Arab Spring” uprisings that had begun in 2011. Questions about what Ambassador Stevens was doing in Benghazi, and the nature of the CIA operations in Libya he was apparently overseeing, are at the heart of what this scandal is really about.
“What difference, at this point, does it make?”
The answer to Hillary Clinton’s now-infamous question is that the death of four Americans in Benghazi brought to light an aspect of Obama administration policy that continues to have consequences for U.S. national security. Was the “Arab Spring” a spontaneous occurrence or was it a result of a U.S. covert policy intended to overthrow the governments of Libya, Egypt and Syria? There have been reports that the United States supplied weapons to the rebels who toppled Libyan dictator Moammar Qaddafi and then sought to recover those weapons, shipping them to opponents of Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad. It is believed that Ambassador Stevens went to Benghazi on Sept. 11, 2012, as part of that operation, to conduct negotiations with Libyan rebels who were refusing to give up their U.S.-supplied weapons. This backstory of the Benghazi attack, as part of a much larger U.S. policy in the North Africa/Middle East region, is why this ongoing investigation cannot be dismissed as mere partisan politics or a trivial concern with Hillary Clinton’s personal emails. The current crisis surrounding ISIS militants in Syria and Iraq, which has caused the deployment of U.S. Special Forces to Syria, is directly connected to the policies that Hillary Clinton implemented and supervised during her tenure as Secretary of State.
Meanwhile, Islamic extremists are exploiting the instability that the Obama administration’s policies have created. Egypt:
ISIS has released a video purporting to show the final moments of the Russian jet that crashed in Egypt, killing all 224 people on board.
The terror group has claimed it downed the aircraft, but has not said how it might have done so. The horrific footage . . . shows a large structure resembling a plane falling through the air, before being consumed by a mass of smoke.
Cairo and Moscow have denied any possible terrorism link in the incident, which was one of the deadliest Airbus crashes in the past decade.
However, it has emerged that the aircraft broke up mid-air scattering debris and bodies over a wide area. . . .
Professor Michael Clarke, Director General of the Royal United Services Institute said early indications suggest that the jet may have been destroyed by a bomb on the aircraft.
He told BBC Radio Five Live: ‘This aircraft was 200km north of its take-off zone, that means it was flying at around 31,000 feet. Terrorists, as far as we know, don’t have equipment to take down an aircraft at that height.
‘They have shoulder-launched missiles, known as man-portable missiles. They can get aircraft when they are taking off or landing, when they are going low and slow. But anything above 8,000 or 9,000 feet is out of the range of the weapons that they’ve got.’
He said the area where the jet crashed is a known location for groups affiliated to Al Qaeda and ISIS, but it was highly unlikely that a ground-based weapon was responsible for the in-flight break up.
‘Early reports said it split into two and that suggests a catastrophic failure, not a mechanical failure, but perhaps an explosion on board, so I would be much more inclined to think, if we have to guess at this stage, it is much more likely to have been a bomb on board than a missile fired from the ground.’
A terrorist attack in Egypt against a Russian airliner, at a time when Russian forces are engaged in defending Assad’s regime in Syria? We are seeing the consequences of a disastrous policy failure by the Obama administration, a failure in which Hillary Clinton is deeply implicated.

Seriously? You honestly think that folks care about a few emails or that the administration was running weapons to attempt secret wars to remove dictatorships in the ME and North Africa? They hate the dictators that exist, and only loved them because they pissed off the GOP/Conservative brands. The “best and brightest” are too dumb (IMHO) to understand all the politics that are involved with the various factions fighting in the ME and North Africa. Remember these are folks that believe hashtags and social media issues will cause the toppling of warlords and criminals in regions that some folks are lucky to have the connectivity that the Western World enjoys.
I would just say this that the GOP had a perfect chance to do something similar to the Iran-Contra hearings or even the Church hearings on the secret wars stuff. Instead they let themselves get sandbagged by the media and by the left political types. So instead of getting something that would have caused a massive reform and lighting up of the dark corners of the modern monster that is the state post 9/11 (which remember 99% of the prog-left politicos voted for as well as the right) conducts its actions. What did we get instead? An opening for her that would may have allowed her to beat the Sanders (hey Bernie how is that burn feeling now?) and probably be the candidate for Democratic party in 2016.
Oh and before anyone shouts about the “emails”. Look throughout your news at the state and local level. Look at how many times you have folks violating the sunshine laws and look at how fast the media enablers look past when the government violates these laws unless it is a vile conservative; then that is on the news cycle until the person quits the office, is voted out or is fired by the management in government. There are just too many examples to list from Learner on down to your local planning board. Also, just for another quick kick to the gut. Guess who pays twice for those law violations? Common on guess……
I will give you a hint they are due every year usually on Jan 1 in most state and city and county locations.
OH you gave up? Fine its us the taxpayers. Every time the state violates open sunshine laws with respect towards record keeping or meetings we pay twice. Once for the defense of it and then pay to pay out to one of our fellow citizens the fines that government has to pay.

Mitt Romney was correct when he noted that the Democrat had an automatic 47% of the vote; Mrs Clinton needs only the next 4% to win. To too many people, it doesn’t matter whether she lied, or failed royally, or is the most corrupt politician around; it’s enough that she’s a Democrat.

Openly criminal, openly corrupt, openly evil….

There is a bunch of dumb decisions made regarding the deceased ambassador.
1: Ignoring his own requests for more security.
2: Using an ambassador to funnel weapons into a country to a non-state regime. (which pretty well paints a huge “target” on every ambassador in the ME)
3: Apparently ignoring “chatter” that an attack was being organised.
4: Failing to secure the compound as quickly as possible after the attack (Im sure there was no secret stuff in an embassy funneling weapons too..oh forget it)
5: Denying the reason for the attack
6: Arresting a man on unrelated charges (looks like he was shonky) over a video? WTF!
Does anyone know if the filmmaker is still locked up?
There is no part of that narrative which screams “competent to hold high office” to me.

I have long thought that when an official or agent of the state misbehaved, they should bear the cost of any lawsuit and awards. The state didn’t make them disobey the law, and neither did the Taxpayers.

Russian airliner goes down due to “exterior forces.” IS claims responsibility. Russia says IS doesn’t have surface to air missiles of the type needed to shoot it down at that altitude. What wire those weapons systems Ambassador Stevens was trying to secure i Libya?

Yea but the problem is that a number of government folks pretend to not know the law. “What I have to save every memo and email and letter? I wasn’t told that!” Flash back to training on entering office, “now this is important. As a public official you have to comply with state laws on government sunshine so you have save all written correspondence or be subjected to fines and jail time. The exemption is personal communication such as between yourself and your spouse in an ‘unofficial’ capacity or conducting personal business like making vacation plans. However, the minute you evoke your office title is an official record.” (This is very similar to training I received once on a PTA board)
Then we have the fight over what is personal and what is official. See Hilary opening mudding of the waters. That is if we aren’t dealing with the court cases to have the government admit they have records of illegal correspondence or illegal meetings. Again look up in your favorite news crawler words like “sunshine laws violations”, “transparency violations”, “open meetings law breaks” etc. To find that some folks don’t understand that you have a quorum of the board anyplace, the coffee house or the beach and start talking shop it’s an official meeting and needs to be published and recordered. Ditto for using your home email address or even home office gear to send official title correspondence. That all has to be recorded.
The state doesn’t make them break the law, but the state also doesn’t do its due diligence to hold the responsibilities of what is required by law either. Then like I said above the 4th estate doesn’t do thier part unless it’s an evil conservative or one of those icky bible thumper that still exist in the democratic party.
We as taxpayers still pay because the years of court cases (and yes some of them have lasted years even after rulings and fines being attributed by the courts) because the government first has to defend itself from what it knows are law violations by its employees before it can give the records over. That is part of the law. So we pay for the government to hide the fact it broke the law from us and guess who has bigger pockets. Then we pay when the law says the law was broken and the government needs to go to the house of pain and then we pay because the government can’t always afford those fines and fees of loosing. So we are always getting the short end of the stick in a certain body part because modern government is corrupt and inefficient.

The filthy little paws of Hillary, Rice, Power and Jarrett are all over the implosion of the Middle East. They’re incompetent ideologues who supported out of the White House the Arab uprising in Egypt, etc. God help us this insane, imbecile old bag doesn’t get elected President.
November 2nd, 2015 @ 11:03 pm
Based on the total destabilization of the Middle East and the rise of Jarret’s family group, the Muslim Brotherhood, the scattering of military aged males throughout the West under the guise of helping poor refugees and the insistence that it’s all good…
I would say there is little evidence of incompetence. They have made great strides toward achieving their goals.
