Sometimes it’s hard to think of a post title for these weekend linkagery posts, but other times one just seems to drop into your lap. Apparently not content with the existing Annoy A Feminist Week, or perhaps wanting to spread the love around (so to speak), Milo Yiannopoulos has declared his birthday, October 17, to be World Patriarchy Day, and included a helpful list of suggestions on how to help keep up the oppression feminists whinge about 24×7. Better a day late than not at all, I say, and I’m doing my part by posting Kate Upton as this week’s appetizer.

    There is no “patriarchy,” there is only the truth that men take absurd risks women don’t tend to take, frequently when no one is looking on. In the middle on nowhere, in a small isolated valley in a Third World country, I once motorcycled across an unfinished bridge just because I wanted to see what was on the other side. Had to come back the same way and I knew that going in. What was the kicker? I used a series of concrete slabs laid end to end with sheer drop-offs on either side. There wasn’t even room to stop the bike and stay upright. A slight veer and it meant me and the bike plunging into the dry river bed below. There’s a reason women don’t make Jackass movies.
