The accusations laid out in Clinton Cash are damning, indeed. And they come on the heels of the Great Chappaqua Email caper. Benefit of the doubt? I. Think. Not. But I also grasp that she is unlikely to see justice under the sun.

I’m still skeptical about 2008. My gut says that Her Majesty saw Obama, looked at her prodigious negatives in the polls, and decided that the risk of triggering a conservative tsunami that even her powers of deception could not master was too great. So you let #OccupyResoluteDesk go out there and make a mess of things, intending to come back in 2016 as a fixer. Classic bad cop/good cop play.

Meanwhile, she runs the table and pockets a lot of cash. She’s either got vast bucks, and a Presidential pardon for any “infelicities” that are discovered, or the plan works and she starts writing history as a Jezebel of such Biblical proportions that even a no-talent rodeo clown like Obama looks a saint in comparison.

In defense of both of these jackwagons: none of this development “just happened”. It took decades to concentrate all this power, and there is scant indication of a bona fide reform bone anywhere in the Republican party.

    And speaking of “Her Majesty”… In true style for a maniacal monarch, she is now informing us that “religious beliefs need to change.”

    She told attendees at the sixth annual Women in The World Summit that “deep-seated cultural codes, religious beliefs and structural biases have to be changed” for the sake of giving women access to “reproductive health care and safe childbirth.”

    This is exactly why I can’t stand the constant bleating about the need for a governor as our candidate. Those decades of power concentration happened under former governors who thought that “getting stuff done” was the hallmark of excellence in the Oval Office.

    If keeping the lights on and making sure the drinks arrive on time is what we want from the captain of this year’s Titanic, then we’re going to hit that iceberg harder and faster than last time.

    When Hills was trying to lie her way into political support from evangelicals, didn’t she brag about her own *cough* Christianity? I’m pretty sure I remember that.

    I’d also be interested hearing how “reproductive health care and safe childbirth” in any way euphemistically describes sucking someone’s brains out and crushing their skull.

    I’m voting only for Restoration. If the R’s don’t put up a Restoration candidate, I’ll vote LP or write-in. Placeholders and M&A specialists (that’s what RINO types really are, ultimately) are not going to get my vote.

    Not a business person. A Restoration person. Cities and counties hire administrators to RUN the place, while the city mayor or county executive do the schmoozing and the appealing for funds, as well as pushing for policies among the councils. IOW, you can hire administrators. Government is full of them at the federal level. Administrators, comptrollers, and inspectors general by the thousands.

    In fact, the One Good Thing about Obama is that he undeniably proves—for all time—that the government still *runs*, even when the guy at the top is completely disengaged from it.

    What we need is someone committed to Restoring the proper role of the Constitutional framework. Additionally he or she must be able to deal with foreign policy and the war we are in. Governors are not automatically better at national defense. (I’d really prefer a man or woman who served in uniform and led people, especially in wartime, but this generation of potentials are those who came of age when there was no call to serve, so few will have done so.)

    So I look for:

    * demonstrated competence
    * a commitment to the Founding principles
    * a solid understanding of the importance&nbsp of the three levels of sovereignty the&nbsp Founders established (national, state, and individual).&nbsp This includes ending the threat of mass&nbsp legalization of illegal aliens.
    * a dedication to restoring Constitutional&nbsp principles of governance.
    * a determination to win the war&nbsp against radical Islam without&nbsp destroying individual sovereignty

    Most of the potentials and candidates so far excel in only a few of those areas.

    The D’s and R’s are like two cats grooming each other’s butts. With lots of slurping sounds.

    The Republic is dead and has been buried under an avalanche of poo. It cannot be resuscitated.

    K-Bob, IIRC, you don’t necessarily believe all this, but what we’re seeing is prophecy unfolding before our very eyes, and the next things on the menu are worse.

    With me it isn’t so much belief as acceptance. I don’t worry about end times because hey, what can I do about it? But some folks watch it closely. Scoop has several articles about it over at TheRightScoop, if you’re interested. In particular a lot of focus is being placed on Erdogan and Turkey. It’s compelling stuff.

    (I declared it’s not fair to have end times now, when we haven’t gotten our flying cars and interstellar travel yet.)

    But yeah, you’re right. I owe Republicans nothing. When people respond with the Standard, Tiresome Reply of, “So you want to help elect Hillary then?” I just laugh at them. It’s like a sign around their neck that says, “I believe the Conventional Wisdom from 1973 is Still Operative and Everything’s Juuust Fine.”

    I’m not a very religious guy, but I’m totally down with the schadenfreude when it comes to people who pose as religious for personal gain.

    They’re in for a big surprise at the final accounting, and I don’t feel sorry for them at all.

    I checked out those Scoop Erdogan articles. The Shoebat ones, especially, I like. The only thing erroneous I saw was in one of the Scoop articles on Mar 19, where they equated Gog with the Antichrist.

    However, Gog is killed and buried, I think, in the Jezreel valley during the Magog war, whereas Antichrist is chucked alive into the Lake of Fire at the end of the 7 years. Niggling detail though, and I’m too lazy to look it up anyway.

    One compelling detail to the Erdogan scenario is that the Bible calls the Antichrist “the Assyrian”, and Turkey was part of the Assyrian Empire. Bears watching, for sure.

    I honestly don’t believe restoration is possible, because the basis of our economy is faulty. We’re in a mathematical impossibility. The GDP is 17.7 trillion, while the national debt hit 18.2 trillion just a few short hours ago.

    And that’s not counting the 95.8 trillion in unfunded liabilities, or the 427 trillion in derivatives debt that our banks are exposed to.

    Playing games with money (most notably the concept of compound interest) is an evil that (like most evils) creates a short period of joy and a long, long fallout of hell.

    We are now incapable of actual prosperity and can only experience “bubbles.”

    I’ve been studying end times prophecy hard-core (Hebrew and Greek language studies and timelines) for more than 10 years now, and I still basically don’t know nuthin’ ’bout nuthin’.

    The most I can say is that I’m pretty sure I’ll recognize things while they’re happening. And that I’ll know the season, which is now. I’m just watching and waiting.

    The solutions you named are areas where people can profit. What I’m talking about is shutting down areas where people profit uselessly (as in the case of credit swap derivatives), and it takes more than ingenuity to do that.

    Government debt is a problem, but so is large financial institutions betting against black swans, or more accurately betting that they can make money every quarter that there isn’t one and get bailed out when one finally flies by.

    The probability you will get even half of those characteristics is less than 1 in 10^50. In other words, ain’t gonna happen.

    As Dead Messenger says, this is the end time, and we are the terminal generation. The stage is being set for monumental events in the Levant, and they bear watching.

    As for the US, its goose is well done. Put a fork in it. The US is found no where in prophecy, and looking at what’s on the near horizon, it’s not hard to see why. Judgment is set for the US, and Obama is part of it.

    I do pity them. But, I’m one of those that wouldn’t wish Gehenna on Satan himself, no matter how much he may deserve it. However, I expect to be in the company of the Saints saying to God, “Your judgments are just,” and they certainly are since He knows all and sees all, including the heart.

    But I still cringe at the thought of the many people that will end up there.

    I can think of a few candidates who qualify for more than half. Cruz, Rubio, and Paul. Possibly Walker, but I’m not feeling it for Walker. They all have flaws (Rubio and Paul have serious flaws that make it unlikely I’d vote for them. But I might be persuaded otherwise).

    I don’t see that as a problem. Big companies of all sorts win and lose all the time, for an infinitude of reasons. You aren’t forced to keep your investment in those. But governments wreck the entire chain of things, and can pick winners and losers. That’s a serious problem.
