British Student’s Message for White Males: ‘It Is Time for You to Bow Down’

The Independent, a left-wing British newspaper, published an anonymous student’s diatribe about “injustice” at universities:

‘White men should never hold elected
positions in British universities again’
University is supposed to be amazing, a transformative experience which is informed by student unions across the country. Yet people don’t give a toss about their student unions, no one cares about the NUS [National Union of Students], and activism is dying at all but a few hardcore universities. This generation of students has been pissed on by the government and fees, and privatisation, and all anyone seems to want to do is roll over and let it happen.
Do you know why this is? It’s because our universities and student unions are too similar to our government; they are too stunted by white men. White men might want to appropriate injustice as theirs, desperate for something to struggle against, but it’s a hobby they’ll pick up and drop as soon as the first comfortable finance job beckons them over.
We need to ban white men and their activism dilettantism from student unions. We need powerful women and minority ethnic people to bring their passion back to the heart of student politics. Being a student union president should no longer be a place for privileged whiteboys to swing their d–ks around before graduating into a world that is in no way affected by what they claim to fight for.
More importantly, we obviously live in a world that looks favourably on white men. In order to bring about change in our racist and sexist society, it must start in our universities. If women and minority ethnic people were in positions of leadership across all universities in the country, we would have a diverse graduating class of future leaders in every industry.
“Oh but, it’s racist to ban someone on the basis of their skin colour, and sexist to ban them on their gender,” cry the assembly chorus of confused souls trying to turn the language of progress into a weapon to further entrench the establishment. It’s not. You’re at university, go and ask a humanities professor. Learn something.
White men have had the last several millennia in charge, and it’s been a s–tshow from start to finish. A new generation of powerful women and minority ethnic people is ready to lead and change. It is time for you to bow down.

A few hours after publishing that article on its web site, the Independent took it down, without explanation. The version above was copied at Reddit. (Hat-tip: Milo Yiannopoulos on Twitter.)

    That message has been loud and clear for any male in American public schools and colleges (student, teacher or administration) over the past twenty plus years. If you are gay, you don’t have to bow (as much).

    Well it’s certainly a relief to know that activism is dying at universities in Britain. One can only hope that trend crosses the pond.
    Why again did the writer think that college produced leaders?

    Feminist resent it that everything they see, touch and use everyday was thought of, invented, created and manufactured by white men.Their plan is to make higher learning hostile to them so women can comprise of super majority of enrollments in college- university.

    If they discriminate against white males at British universities, white males will stop attending British universities. Maybe they can come to the U.S. illegally and get in-state resident tuition at our universities.

    Unfortunately, feminists have shown up too late to the show. In their effort to make college the gateway of privilege (ironic, I know) leftists have undermined the legitimacy of a college degree. It no longer holds the power it once did. Employers are realizing four years of extended high school (only without Mommy and Daddy) doesn’t equate to competence or a work ethic and they’re going back to tried and true methods of apprenticeship, hiring from within. So women can have the colleges. Men will go on to continue building the world. Because instead of copying the opposite sex, as some do, we go our own way. Which is what it means to be a man in the first place.

    And what does this really say? In the end, the left views heterosexual white males to be just plain superior, the Übermensch as it were, who must not be allowed to compete with the oppressed groups, because their natural superiority will lead to yet more white male domination.

    I smell a prank somewhere. Nevertheless, the rhetoric is similar enough to standard intersectional cant to be scary. That is particularly true of the just ended NUS conference in the U.K. Those women are flat out nuts. I urge everyone to read the motions they put on the table and passed, such as telling white gay men to stop imitating black women with the head bobbing finger snapping and such. They also want prisons abolished because they apparently want all rapists to be cured by counseling. Let’s write letters to ISIS and decorate them with kitty cats and dolphins and rainbows. Middle East peace will be solved and the world will jazz hands in triumph.

    …the National Union of Students (NUS) has officially banned gay white men from “appropriating black female culture.” Yes, this is a real thing that has happened.

    The motion passed by the union (which is comprised of more than 600 student groups around the UK) titled “Dear White Gay Men: Stop Approprirating [sic] Black Women” states that the behavior of white gay men is “unacceptable” and “must be addressed.”

    “This may be manifested in the emulation of the mannerisms, language (particularly AAVE- African American Vernacular English) and phrases that can be attributed to black women. White gay men may often assert that they are ‘strong black women’ or have an ‘inner black woman’,” the NUS motion reads.

    “White gay men are the dominant demographic within the LGBT community, and they benefit from both white privilege and male privilege.”.

    The sheer ignorance of history is astounding. What about Queen Victoria, a woman of such enormous power and cultural influence that an entire era of human history was named in her honor? Or The Queen of Spain, whose approval and money Christopher Columbus had to win in order to sail to spain. It was also the Queen of Spain who signed the first order opening the African Slave trade.

    For the vast majority of human history and in every culture, it has been families, royal families composed of male and females who ruled the world.
    And the focus on WHITE men in particular is such a bizarre Euro-centric view. of the world.
    Yes, in European cultures, white elites have ruled. In other cultures, elites of that culture’s ethnic identity have ruled.
    Europe has only been on top of the pile for a few centuries and it’s influence is already waning in favor of China.
    In the 1600’s (shakespeares time) poor rural brits were kidnapped and sold as slaves in the middle east. There was also a slave trade of people from the Caucus into the middle east.
    People who espouse these ideas, in their effort to be in favor of diversity and whatnot, ironically take an extremely narrow and Eurocentric view of the world.

    That is true, but I believe that with the mainstreaming of gay marriage, gay white men are on their way to being considered super-oppressors akin to priests and monks (or worse), due to not being influenceable by women in the usual ways.

    It must be wonderful to struggle with your identity your entire life, then finally start to express yourself and be comfortable in your own skin, and be told you have privilege and are oppressing and marginalizing others. God, I’ve no idea how anyone stays sane.

    Or alternatively, what about the people who developed the university system in which the anonymous author of this piece (allegedly) studies, the computer on which they wrote it, and the theories of human rights which protect her right to spout nonsense like this. White men one and all, and if the author of this piece thinks that universities, technology and human rights constitute “a s–tshow from start to finish”, they can try buggering off to some third world hell-hole where all these things are outlawed.

    I didn’t know that! I knew that she gave German immigrants three concessions to farm the steppes — something about taxes, conscription, and teaching their kids in their own language — but I always assumed that it was just because it was hard, and no one else wanted to. (Which was also true.)

    Yes. She mounted a coup to depose her husband who was later killed by his captors. The offer was for freedom from conscription, freedom of religion and the ability to keep their culture. Germany’s farming techniques were better than Russias and they had food shortages so why not ask for Germans to farm in Russia?

    I love the part about white men being in charge for the last several millennia. That would take us to at least 1,000 B.C. Intersectionalist ignorance of history is only surpassed by its eagerness to discuss it. And if it’s been such a shit show, why keep emigrating into it? Minority ethnic people aren’t minority ethnic people in the Third World. The Third World ranges from a barely functioning brush with disaster to killing fields complete with chopping off heads. Only in the Middle East can one be murdered simply for visiting a museum or historic site. And that’s when they’re not blowing up historic sites and museums.
