We live in the age of Tedious Lefty Assault (TLA). If it isn’t the #WarOnWomen, our self-appointed elite are on our cases about Global Anthropogenic Climate Disruption Change Warming, or even more piffle-icious crap like the WarOnTheRedskins. I guess it’s easier than doing honest economic reporting.

So the President of the Navajo Nation sat with the Redskins owner at a game, prompting this blog’s Advertising Department to come up with some suggested copy, should Shelly be hired as a spokesman for the ‘Skins:

“Sometimes the foolish undertakers,
Sitting triumphally, feeling über-hip,
Sharing that frivolity unearned,

    Before I read the article you link I predicted that some leftist whiner would complain that Shelly wasn’t a “real” Indian, or he was a race traitor. Deadspin took issue. As on wag said in the comments, “The only good Indian is a Deadspin Indian.”

    Would that the insane left wasn’t so predictable.

    They don’t play in DC anymore. They ought to leak that they are engaged in ”talks” with some un-named Mid-Western city about relocating. The reason there’s so much emphasis on the Redskins and not the Chiefs or the Braves is the Skins proximity to Mordor.

    Oh, yeah. We had the usual, complete drive-bys over at Scoops who just had to point out that “evidently Shelly couldn’t be bothered to issue a statement” and the “His term is up soon, and he lost his re-election bid”

    So the hacks are out there trying their best to discredit the story.

    Maybe I will break my boycott of the NFL this year only to watch the Redskins, to support the one team that is not bowing to PC mores. But then, they made RGIII turn his Jesus t-shirt inside out. So I don’t know, I think that cancels out my justification to make an exception for the Redskins.

    Hey NFL, when I stopped watching MLB in 1994, I didn’t start watching again until this past summer. Aaah what do you care, there are so many in the PC camp who watch football, right?
