Jerry Seinfeld Accidentally Explains The Obama Administration

by Smitty

Alternate title: “If only Barack Obama had delivered this for his Nobel Prize acceptance. . .” I shared the clip a second time with Mrs. Other Smitty this morning, and I realized that Seinfeld was really explaining how this country could possibly be duped by a no-talent rodeo clown. See if you agree:

Via Instapundit, we have “Obama hasn’t come up with one original idea yet“. Of course not. #OccupyResoluteDesk’s task was not to come up with original ideas; it was to talk about ideas as if they were original.

Past the snark, this is an important result. It invites the question: how can we teach people to pull their heads out of Happy Land long enough to approach politics in a semi-sober manner?

If we can’t, then there is probably no escaping Her Majesty, and further ventures into ineptocracy.

Only part of the country was duped and many of them should have known better since they considered themselves to be “informed” and “educated”. So thanks to all those who contributed to making the rest of us miserable because you just had to vote for an IDIOT!!!!

One of the offerings after the Seinfeld vid is even better, if only because it’s more direct and less metaphorical, progressives suffer from “a kind of altitude sickness from constantly occupying that high moral ground where progressives just don’t belong”…

I don’t know if “many of them should have known better” is actually true. Taking into consideration what passes for being “informed” and “educated” among so many of them “knowing better” is an unrealistically high bar. They are TWANLOC and will never master the mental task of ”knowing better”.

Yup, that’s where Valerie Jarrett (aka the Ridiculous Rodentine Ruler or the White House) plays her role well.

ValJar in her office planning on what 0bama will speechify next.*

She’s been the manager of the 0bama image for quite a while.

*See more pictures of ValJar and friends at http://gianthamster.com/ , as Uncle Saul said, ridicule is a powerful tool.

Obama’s not an idiot, he’s a skilled political manipulator. He knows how to set people against each other, who to flatter and who to anger to get what he wants. He does seem to lack any administrative skill, but he’s cynical enough that it doesn’t matter to him.

The opposite of “partisan thinking” is “objective thinking.” Nobody in this country thinks objectively anymore.

Obama could take a dump in the middle of Holy Name Cathedral while fingering a 4-year old and singing the Soviet National Anthem. Partisan thinkers (like the news media) would screw their minds to believe that this was a masterpiece of interface outreach, binding us all together in a spirit of diversity, rather than admit that a member of the party they support did wrong.

He’s not that good of a manipulator. He knows how to whip up hate in the stupid. A truly gifted manipulator is better at hiding the manipulation. He’s simply a pathological liar.

I would credit The Jarrett Junto, which surrounds him like a cocoon*, for damn near all the low-cunning skill on display.
