Labor Day plans: pretty much the same everywhere


Nature abhors a vacuum, and blogs without posts cause readers to get bored and drift away, so here’s a few things you may find of interest:

The International Lord of Hate fisked one of the Grauniad’s resident idiots, who further demonstrated his lack of brains by admitting to libel in the Facebook thread. Welp. RTWT; how can you not like a post that begins “Let me cut right to the chase. Damien Walter is a liar.”

John Wright also chimes in on the wretched Damien Walter. He sure writes purty.

Sarah Hoyt has a few things to say about social standards.

I’ve been spending my weekend mostly horizontal, re-reading Monster Hunter Nemesis, which just gets better with each re-reading, as well as Sharpe’s Company and Sharpe’s Sword, because it’s been a few months since I had my last Sharpe fix.

    Spent the afternoon at a local historic site. They had everything you’d need to make a bacon cheeseburger there, but in raw form.

    Top labor Day Story – A massive leak of nude and risque photos appearing to be of huge stars like Jennifer Lawrence and Kate Upton leaked online. The pictures allegedly were retrieved due to an Apple iCloud leak that allowed celebrities’ phones to be hacked, and were posted in an attempt to earn Bitcoins.
