Commies for Abortion

“Stop Patriarchy” (@StopPatriarchy) is a front group for the Revolutionary Communist Party (RCP), a Maoist cult led by Bob Avakian, a septuagenarian leftover of 1960s Berkeley radicalism. (For background on these deranged freaks, read the entries “Robert Avakian” and “Revolutionary Communist Party” at Discover the Networks.) So when RCP activist Sunsara Taylor organized “the movement to End Pornography and Patriarchy: The Enslavement and Degradation of Women,” you think maybe somebody would have noticed that these feminists are, by their own declaration, revolutionary communists.
The commies held a protest Thursday in Houston, Texas:
If the War Against Women is a national battle, Texas is ground zero.
That’s according to Sunsara Taylor, a leader of Stop Patriarchy, a movement that is attempting end to the enslavement and degradation of women — notably when it comes to the right to an abortion and the production of pornography.
“Roe v. Wade began in Texas, and the (pro-life constituency) plan(s) on ending it in Texas,” Taylor said. “We came here to stand up against that.”
Thursday, Stop Patriarchy held the first protest of its 2014 abortion rights freedom ride, outside the Harris County Republican Party Offices. Protesters chanted, “fetuses are not babies,” “abortion is not murder” and “women are not incubators.” They also held up faux-bloodied coat hangers and held photos of women who died from illegal abortions, an homage to the commonality of the practice during the early 20th century.
Taylor said that, under the guidance of Texas’s Republican Party, women could be forced back to the practices of those dangerous days to deal with unwanted pregnancies. On Sept. 1, as part of legislation under Texas House Bill 2, there are projected to be six abortion clinics in the state.
Stop Patriarchy will make other stops in Austin, San Antonio and Rio Grande Valley as part of its crowdfunded trip until Aug. 21.
Not a word — not a single fucking word — about the fact that these people are Maoist revolutionaries, members of a radical cult that in 1984 advocated the assassination of Ronald Reagan. Neither was the connection between the RCP and Stop Patriarchy mentioned in a New York magazine article that included these quotes from Sunsara Taylor:
“[W]omen have not achieved equality. That’s a myth in this country. . . . They’re reducing women to objects, either sexually or as breeders. . . .
“Abortion is perfectly moral. Fetuses are not babies, and women are not incubators.”
You might think that a self-described revolutionary communist like Taylor, if interviewed by the mainstream media, would at least use that as an opportunity to mention, y’know, communism and revolution. But no, there seems to be some kind of tacit agreement that these subjects won’t be mentioned in the mainstream press.
Texas Right for Life does mention the RCP, pointing out that some pro-abortion activists in Texas are angry because Stop Patriarchy managed to raise more than $30,000 for their Texas tour:
Still totally not getting how riding a bus through Texas costs $30k or does literally anything but annoy everyone in TX @StopPatriarchy

Stop Patriarchy isn’t a reproductive justice movement – they’re a front for the Revolutionary Communist Party. A profitable one, it seems.

The fact that @StopPatriarchy accuses those who oppose the TX “Freedom Ride" of “McCarthyism” tells you exactly where their priorities are.

$32,000 for ten people to wave coat hangers at a building. Nailed it, @StopPatriarchy. So resistance. Much revolution.
— Andrea Grimes (@andreagrimes) August 1, 2014
Congratulations, everyone who gave money to Stop Patriarchy. No doubt the Harris County GOP is closing up shop as we speak.

By the way, those bloody coat hangers? A lie.
You know who is really good at lying? Commies, that’s who.

The murder and the black hole of immorality is the goal. BAMN is the method. Narcissistic nihilists all.
God *will* judge this country if people like this are not put into their proper place beyond the pale.

First, Dr. Bernard Nathanson — who was one of the original leaders of the American pro-abortion movement and co-founder of N.A.R.A.L. (National Abortion Rights Action League), and who has since become pro-life — admits that he and others in the abortion rights movement intentionally fabricated the number of women who allegedly died as a result of illegal abortions.
How many deaths were we talking about when abortion was illegal? In N.A.R.A.L. we generally emphasized the drama of the individual case, not the mass statistics, but when we spoke of the latter it was always “5,000 to 10,000 deaths a year.” I confess that I knew the figures were totally false, and I suppose the others did too if they stopped to think of it. But in the “morality” of the revolution, it was a useful figure, widely accepted, so why go out of our way to correct it with honest statistics. The overriding concern was to get the laws eliminated, and anything within reason which had to be done was permissible. ~ Bernard Nathanson, M.D., Aborting America (New York: Doubleday, 1979), 193.

Destroy marriage; destroy motherhood, either directly through abortion or indirectly by making it seem unusual or a betrayal of womanhood (see e.g. articles critical of women leaving the workforce to rear children); destroy the family. When those social foundations are gone–part of the bourgeoisie–, then there is nothing left but the State. It was all spelled out over a 150 years ago.

I am not pro abortion, but less commies is always a good thing.

Ha!

Is that supposed to be the aborted baby’s blood, or the non-mother’s blood on those coat hangers?

Well, commies are made, not born.
They are created not with sperm and ovum, but with TV, public schools, psychology “diagnostic manuals,” and the news media.

I get so sick of hearing about “the pioneers of abortion” and how women “had” to use coat hangers. These idiots have no idea: abortion with the technology available in the early 1900s was utterly unsafe.
Mae West, in her day, was one of the richest (if not THE richest) woman in the world. Even she couldn’t get an abortion that was safe. Her abortion left her unable to have children.
Anyone advocating abortion in the early part of the 20th century was a psychopath.
Anyone advocating it now is simply cruel.

This is true. Like I said I am not for abortion, but that many on the left choose not to breed and indoctrinate their own children. It is what it is.
Of course they then try to indoctrinate everyone else’s kids.

Indeed, and there’s only one question to be asked: What was the right wing doing while the left was conquering the pillars of cultural transformation?

Those “ladies” sure look like they lead happy, fulfilling lives, now don’t they?

On a somewhat side matter of communist countries and modern liberals idiots is that most historical communist countries (such as communist Poland where some of my family lived) were far more socially conservative then western commies.
. One reason for the unconventional conservatism of the Iron Curtain
countries: when all’s said and done, they were mostly kept going day to
day by tradesmen, engineers and other competent, experienced, mustached,
large-thumbed men of a certain age. Planned economies have supply and
demand as well, and there’s always more demand for a guy who can fix the
pipes than for a shrieking queer whose skill set is confined to
posting, fainting and word salad tirades.

It’s hot in Texas, but it’s hotter down here.
Someone should tell those ladies what can happen to Sowers of discord, besides the fact that it’s generally bad to be a Communist asshole.

Recommend Paul Johnson’s “Intellectuals”. In it he chronicles what a swine Karl Marx was, treating his family like dirt. The commies have always been destroyers of the family.

“They also held up faux-bloodied coat hangers…”
Considering they’re using menstrual blood for fertilizing plants, who says the blood is “faux?”

Abortion empowers men to rape women in the ‘rape culture’ sense and it also empowers men to have lots of sex without consequence. Go patriarchy!

My guess is they don’t mention the RCP because they are in bed with these freaks when it comes to this specific issue, and don’t want to do or say anything to undermine their efforts.
August 2nd, 2014 @ 12:54 pm
The amazing thing, the absolutely gob-smacking amazing thing, is that a coat hanger is an image they chose to make us want to support abortion.
Kind of like wearing a swastika to condemn Nazism.

I don’t see those chicks ever having to worry about getting pregnant.
