Report: ‘No Regrets’ Sex Teacher Said She Had Sex Dreams About Teen Boy in 2008

Readers may remember Jennifer Fichter, the 29-year-old Florida teacher who allegedly told the mother of a 17-year-old student that she had “no regrets” about having sex with the boy. Evidence now emerges that Fichter’s sexual interest in young boys was a problem when she was a middle school teacher six years ago:
LAKELAND, Fla. — The Polk County teacher arrested . . . for having sex with her student left her old job in Orange County six years ago after being investigated for another inappropriate relationship with a student.
The student in that case was in the eighth grade.
Friday afternoon, the Orange County School District released their employee file on Jennifer Fichter.
Fichter resigned from Robinswood Middle School in the fall of 2008 after administrators suspended her and launched an investigation.
The more than 40-page internal affairs report details the trouble she found herself in.
According to the report, Fichter revealed to another teacher that she had feelings for the boy, and implied to another student that she wanted to have sex with him.
She reportedly said “he makes me melt into a puddle with those eyes.”
Her co-worker told investigators that she told her she even dreamed about the boy one night. When asked what it was about, she said, “Oh my goodness, it was a goooood dream!”
The two then joked about Fichter going to jail for the comment.
Fichter is now suspected of sexual relationships with three different teenage boys, Tampa’s WFTS-TV reports:
BARTOW, Fla. — Jennifer Fichter, a Polk County teacher charged with having sex with students, now faces accusations that she had a sexual relationship with a third teenager. . . .
Lakeland Police confirmed they have identified a third student who alleges he had a sexual relationship with Fichter. . . .
Wednesday afternoon, the Sheriff’s Office announced 20 additional charges after finding a second teenager who told investigators he and Fichter went from spending time together after class, to text messaging, to secret meet-ups. . . .
Probably the most disturbing revelation in this latest arrest report are allegations that the pair not only met up at Fichter’s apartment, but, according to the teen, she also sneaked over to his home to have sex about 20 times.
“This is a teacher who is a classic predator who decided to let these students call her by her first name. She wanted to get on their level, she wanted to be one of them,” said Sgt. Gary Gross, Lakeland Police Department spokesman.
Abby Roche said Fichter tried to bait her 17-year-old son two years ago, but she intervened and even filed a complaint with the Sheriff’s Office.
“Why didn’t somebody do something about this two years ago when I did bring it to their attention? It’s almost like it’s a little too late,” she said.
Roche found texts between Fichter and her son filled with innuendo. The teacher even met up with her son and his friends.
“The police had that information. If they were good investigators, I would have thought they would find that out,” she said.
Question: How many teachers like Jennifer Fichter are out there, even now, drooling over teenage boys? What’s wrong with these women who “melt into a puddle” looking at an eighth-grader?
Excuse me for suspecting that cases like this reflect (a) perversely misdirected maternal instinct, (b) the impact of a hyper-sexualized culture, and/or (c) the egalitarian influence of feminism.
We are seeing way so many of these stories now there is cause to believe that this phenomenon — female predators who crave sex with teen boys — is increasingly prevalent. This raises the question of why more and more women are becoming perverts, and maybe the feminists screaming about “rape culture” at university campuses should devote more attention to this growing problem instead.

These stories fit the narrative of rape culture perfectly – just not in the way they expected.

It’s not rape when they do it.

Does she still have no regrets?

How in the WORLD did she get another job after resigning her first one?????

Dr. Carol Shakeshaft, who has spent her professional career studying this type of criminal behavior against children, has estimated that twenty percent – 20% – of children will be molested in some way by an adult employee of their public school by the time they graduate. This includes non-teaching employees.

They like to distinguish it from rape-rape

Well, where I went to high school — late 60s, early 70s, class of 1971 — there was only one teacher any of us guys would have been interested in having molest us; all of the others were in their fifties, and the one cute teacher never tried any funny stuff.
She died a couple of years ago, never having married.

Teachers Unions. Teachers’ jobs are sacrosanct and it’s easier for a school district to quietly transfer a teacher or dismiss with a neutral recommendation than to try to revoke a teaching certificate.

I think the problem lies mostly elsewhere. It is the feel-good culture–if it feels good, it couldn’t possibly be bad, could it?
Suppose you are this woman, as an 18, 19-year old deciding on a career. You KNOW cute 12-year-old boys melt you with their eyes. Why, in heaven’s name, would you choose to become a middle school teacher?
In a more sane society, she would have known to stay away from young boys. Like an alcoholic with cravings, the solution is to stay away from alcohol, not to take a job at a liquor store.

But in the mainstream media, that sort of maneuver is only despicable when the Catholic Church does it.

Hey, now! The media worked damned hard to connect the word “priest” with the word “molester.” It took them many years and long, late hours writing all those articles – as well as deliberately ignoring an endless string of molestations that did NOT involve priests.
Don’t go knocking all their diligent toil!

How ’bout a sign like the safety signs we have in dangerous work-places? “[15] days without a rape! Nice going, faculty!”

Morality entirely based on harm and fairness. I said it before, I’ll say it again.

I see a trailer park in this woman’s future.

If you aren’t charged with a crime then, it wouldn’t pop a background check. Also, it is illegal to ask why you were quit or fired from a previous job. When someone follows your references, the reference can not offer up why you left the other job either.

Well, they have the texts and pictures and the student admitted to the “affair”, so what more do they need except an indictment and a jury.
