    Now knowing how our adversaries react, we should crank up the pressure and turn up the heat. Tweak them. Force them to lash out. The angrier they look, the angrier they act, the less sympathetic they become.

    Well, John Mitchell went to jail, so he was at least treated roughly by Congress, if justly so or not.

    Nixon Treasury Secretary William Simon was on his way to a Senate hearing to testify and cut his head getting out of the car at the Capitol. He appeared before the Committee chaired by Hubert Humphrey with blood streaming down his face, and was denied a delay. He testified, mopping the blood from his face with his handkerchief, and later getting stitches in his head wound.

    Eric Holder is a whiny little punk.
