    I know where you are going, but at least Joe and Jack served. Joe was a hot head who got himself killed trying to out do Jack after PT 109. Yeah, Jack got a medal for getting run over (which sounds more like negligence than heroism, but shit happens in war and at least he was not a pussy coward like his idiot skevebag brother Teddy. After the crash, Jack actually saved a guy from drowning).

    And Teddy is likely burning in hell, but that is between him and God.

    IIRC, the plane was remote controlled and filled with unstable explosives which self-detonated, killing Kennedy and the other occupant of the flight and destroying plane escorting and guiding them as well. It did not crash on take-off.

    John Kennedy had a quantum of of physical courage and fine skills as a public speaker. Otherwise, there is not much to be said for him. The severity of his male nymphomania was a phenomenon and I do not think brother Teddy came within an order of magnitude of it.
