One of your links needs a lil bit of a correction Wombat. The Bengals are in the AFC North, not the NFC North. THAT gets decided when my Bears do battle with the Cheeseheads on Sunday

Just Google Spain abortion news there’s plenty of links to choose from. There’s a real tumult going on over there. The conservatives reformed the law back to more like what it was in the eighties and the liberals are going bat shit insane over it. There have even been riots, and according to one thing I read, some violence. I didn’t think to save any links because I figured you’d know about it. The only reason I haven’t covered it is I am on a temporary hiatus and in the process of undergoing some major changes, plus I just haven’t had the time.. It doesn’t surprise me that you wouldn’t know about it though, as I guess it’s something the media here isn’t too anxious to publicize, for obvious reasons.

Wombat, here’s a link from The Guardian-
http://www.theguardian.com/world/2013/dec/20/spain-government-restrictive-abortion-law-opposition
The new law restricts abortion to rape victims and to women who will experience “serious” physical or mental harm without an abortion. I know that’s probably still not enough for some anti-abortion folks but it evidently does represent a vast sea change from recent laws in Spain (and elsewhere) and should represent a welcome trend at least.
Also noteworthy by the way is news that the lone abortion clinic in North Dakota this year had it’s lowest number of abortions on record, which is significant given the state’s relatively booming economy.
BTW have a Happy Holiday Season HoHoHo
