Arkansas Democrat’s Re-Election Ad: ‘Jesus Told Me to Vote for ObamaCare’
Posted on | December 4, 2013 | 34 Comments
OK, it’s a little more subtle than that, but when Arkansas Sen. Mark Pryor voted for ObamaCare four years ago, he knew this Day of Judgment was coming and now he says he’s seen the light:
Sen. Mark Pryor is out with a new TV ad offering a Biblical solution to the already heated 2014 Senate race in Arkansas.
Pryor’s campaign said the ad will begin airing on Wednesday. In the 30 second ad, Pryor speaks directly to the camera about his faith in the Bible. The ad is a substantial purchase for the campaign and will run statewide.
“I’m not ashamed to say that I believe in God, and I believe in His word. The Bible teaches us no one has all the answers. Only God does. And neither political party is always right,” Pryor says in the ad. “This is my compass. My North Star. It gives me comfort and guidance to do what’s best for Arkansas.”
Pryor ends the ad saying he supports the message because “This is who I am, and what I believe.”
Pryor is considered one of the most vulnerable incumbents in the country, partly because of his party line support of the Affordable Care Act and as his campaign is forced to deal with low approval numbers of Pres. Obama in Arkansas. . . .
Pryor is facing Republican Congressman Tom Cotton, who is vacating his seat in the 4th congressional district.
Mark Pryor is a Democrat. All Democrats are liars. Therefore, if Mark Pryor says he’s a Christian, the exact opposite is probably true, and he’s got a pentagram-shaped altar in his basement where he engages in ritual human sacrifice to His Satanic Majesty.
TOM COTTON for U.S. SENATE
Because Jesus wouldn’t vote for Mark Pryor

So, the ad makes no mention of Obamacare? This is not Arkansas level. This is absolutely Louisianian.

Actually, I don’t believe any politician of any party who invokes Christ to win elections, given that politics, by definition, is the art of deceit.

It’s self evident that’s he’s lying about being a Christian. He’s a Dimocrap. You can one, but you can’t be both. And I say that in all seriousness because his party is nothing short of utter evil.

Somewhere there are a number of bishops in the church of atheism who require smelling salts, and their democrat masters who are toasting their good fortune for the rubes in Arkansas.

I always wondered why Jesus, if he was supposed to be Jewish, had a Puerto Rican name.
December 4th, 2013 @ 7:58 pm
By any means necessary. He’d be chanting the Lord’s Prayer backwards and slaughtering a goat at midnight if he thought it would help.

My advice is when a business professes to be “Christian” or has a fish symbol on its ads, double check if you still have your wallet when you visit.

You can one, but you can’t be both.
Twenty years ago, I would have disagreed with you, inasmuch as I was a Democrat and am a Christian. However, as time has passed, I believe that Party’s affinity for abortion and it’s willingness to jettison the sanctity of marriage and the family in favor of the State as deity, makes it difficult to profess allegiance to both the party and God. Such an attempted dual allegiance necessitates being willfully blind to what the party stands for or alternatively, requires a complete overhaul of one’s faith to the point where it is unrecognizable. Preferring the favor of the World, to the Truth of the Word, if you will.
No doubt, the previous paragraph would cause me to be labeled a “bigot” or “hate monger,” but of course, such labels presuppose a caricature of Christianity and not the Faith I know: Acknowledgment of Sin and Judgment, Faith, Repentance and Grace for all who ask.

Even 20 years ago It was impossible. Recall Gov Casey was denied a speaking slot at the Dim Convention because he was pro-life. That was the line that got crossed. At that point they demonstrated a basic hatred for life and that they had sold out to the father of lies. Now, it is beyond any question who they serve.
December 4th, 2013 @ 9:33 pm
I used 20 years, because that was when the last local pro-life Democrat I know left the party.

Here is a guy who is asking us to accept this was his
following prayer to GOD.
“Dear Lord. I am confused and need guidance. On one hand there is a plan, of which I have no understanding, that will alter the lives of millions of people- against their
will- for political gain. If I agree with this plan, I am loved by democrats and my President, y’know the other guy who can walk on water. If I refuse, recognizing my duty to follow due diligence and not harm my fellow man, I will be thrown from my party and all the cool stuff I get from being in power will be taken from me.
And you know how hard I prayed to get that stuff in the first place!
Soooo…. I was wondering if you could tell me what to do. I’ll flip a coin, you can use your heavenly finger to turn it the way it needs to go. Heads, I vote for Obamacare and let the masses fend for themselves and I get to keep my stuff. Tails, I stand on principle and may be thrown back into the real world where the…regular people live..ugh.
Okay, here goes…Tails! Hmmm…alright, it
appears you may have been busy somewhere else saving someone from a flood or something, so how about we try it again. Okay, that’s better Heads. I knew
it all along. Thanks God.
Oh BTW- if this screws up I’m blaming you in a campaign commercial.
uhh.. Oh yeah, Amen and all that stuff.”

Maybe Prior confused Harry Reid with God. So, he voted the way Harry Reid want him to vote. Or, it was Obama.
