Bill Schmalfeldt of Elk Ridge, Maryland, a.k.a. “Liberal Grouch”


Rebecca Lower comments on the hate-filled monster:

Over the past 24 hours, notorious Twitter troll . . . Bill Schmalfeldt has resumed his disgusting attacks on the wife of conservative journalist Lee Stranahan about the loss of their daughter. And he admits that he doesn’t care who he hurts.

Everyone knows the vile things Bill Schmalfeldt did to Lee Stranahan and his family. And remember this?

That was part of a relentless Twitter attack — more than 200 hostile messages in 48 hours — Schmalfeldt sent me over Thanksgiving weekend last year when he was falsely claiming I had not actually left Maryland, a lie that he and other pro-Kimberlin stooges continue to repeat. This further proves what I’ve said before: Bad causes attract bad people.

Everybody knows that Brett Kimberlin is a convicted perjurer and a notorious liar. Yet this doesn’t stop his sycophants from doing whatever they think will harm those whom Brett Kimberlin has targeted for destruction. The very fact that Bill Schmalfeldt admires Brett Kimberlin is all the evidence you need of Bill Schmalfeldt’s bad character, although he continues providing further evidence daily.

    @jnewby1956 did not say a word against him today, yet out of the gate, I imagine fresh from a morning espresso, Schmalfeldt starts tweeting that kind of stuff about someone who is, at a minimum, a colleague, whether they agree politically or not. I cannot imagine that this looks good to his new employers.

    You recognize the Bill Schmalfeldt’s plan is to get you to say something vaguely threatening so he can use it against you. And if throwing Lee Stranahan’s kids under the Kimberlin-Rauhauser bus gets that done, he has no qualms about it.

    I am a cold hearted godless son of a bitch, but individuals like Kimberlin, Rauhauser, and Schmalfeldt make me question what I am doing.

    Then I go stupp a willing young journalist, take a shower, have a cigarette and a scotch and I feel slightly better.

    One of the drawbacks of the internet is that sick individuals with evil intent are free to harass others with little consequence. Their infractions don’t rise to the level which will attract decisive action from law enforcement, and punishing them through recourse to the civil justice system is expensive and ultimately usually fruitless, as they seldom have any property worth attaching.

    Kimberlin and Rauhauser are at least rational to the extent that they seek some benefits for themselves as a result of their attacks, either intimidation of their enemies or ingratiating themselves with political opponents of their enemies, or both. But this guy seems to have no dog in any of these fights. He just likes to harass people and hurt them if he can, for the pure enjoyment of it.

    That’s one sick puppy there.
