    I would have written “gastropod.” Sure, “mollusc” is amusing, but the word “gastropod” is outright funny.

    Although there is something about mollusc. It looks as if somebody started spelling the word and then got distracted.

    Gastropod would’ve taken the title past two lines, in addition to lacking the alliteration with ‘missile’. I looked at Wikipedia briefly, and figure ‘mollusc’ wasn’t totally incorrect, and went with it.
