Journalism Errors and Character Flaws

It would appear that George Stark, a Hollywood-based reporter for the British Daily Mail, was mistaken when he reported that Alec Baldwin’s wife was Tweeting while attending the New York funeral of actor James Gandolfini. The three-hour time differential between the Eastern and Pacific time zones (and let’s face it, George Stark’s stupidity) caused the error. But what about Alec Baldwin’s unhinged reaction?
“I’m gonna find you, George Stark, you toxic little queen, and I’m gonna fuck…you…up.”
“If put my foot up your fucking ass, George Stark, but I’m sure you’d dig it too much.”
“George Stark, you lying little bitch. I am gonna f%#@ you up.”
Whatever one thinks of a journalist who tries to create a celebrity “scandal” because he can’t read Twitter timestamps, what are we to think of an actor who so spectacularly loses his temper, and whose first instinct is to gay-bait and threaten violence against the reporter?
Look, I lose my my temper occasionally.
I yell. I rant. I cuss a blue streak. I invoke Gaelic war oaths.
But no matter how angry I get, I have never erupted on Twitter angrily spewing derogatory slurs like “queen” and “bitch.”
Alec Baldwin has a character flaw, and the size of his enormous, entitled narcissistic ego prevents him from seeing it.
The 55-year-old actor’s 28-year-old wife shows more maturity.
I hope that this reporter knows how much pain and drama he has caused from his poor journalism. Lying and bullying are shameful.

Hilaria Baldwin and her baby should be in our prayers.
Seriously.
UPDATE: Ed Driscoll asks:
What’s in your wallet? Sadly, for Alec Baldwin, it’s not an emergency Prozac capsule . . .
Baldwin may or may not have fired his publicist, but he has apparently deleted his second Twitter account after his latest public meltdown. Will the company most associated with Baldwin delete its long–troubled spokes–hulk? As Twitchy notes, “Your move, Capital One.”
Don’t worry about Alec Baldwin. He is very much like Charlie Sheen — such a valuable commodity as an actor, his personality flaws are tolerated. And that’s really part of the problem, isn’t it?

There is a touch of homophobia in each of Alec Baldwin’s tweets. I hope Hollywood doesn’t find out or his career is toast.
Who am I kidding? The double standard is alive and well among the elites.

“Homophobia” is a fictional malady, a politically correct pseudo-diagnostic label used by the Left against its enemies.
Alec Baldwin’s problem isn’t “homophobia,” but the very real symptoms of a narcissistic personality disorder — the same thing that has made Charlie Sheen such a spectacular human trainwreck.
My writing about various issues and personalities could be labeled “homophobic.” But what I have never done is to resort to the kind of angry bully-boy act of gay-baiting — impugning someone whose masculinity, rather than his sexuality, is the target of such slurs.
Do we actually know if George Stark is gay? Could Alec Baldwin have known that when he went off on this obscenity-filled rant?
You see the point, I hope.

Alec Baldwin is 55 going on about eight. A man of his age acting like this in public should be ashamed of himself.

Balwin made a racial slur not too long ago. Shorty after that, Capital One had a new commercial with him and a cast of blacks. Paula Deen says something thirty years ago and still has to pay the price. Even Jesse Jackson, Sr. defended her.

If Hilaria didn’t know what she was getting into, she had to be living under a rock. I feel no sympathy for her.

Why isn’t Baldwin arrested for statements like that? We’ve got kids wearing a t-shirt getting busted, a guy who drew on the sidewalk in chalk facing 13 years and some little boy with a water pistol gets the 3rd degree and suspended for a lot less than what this POS spews forth.
And It’s not like he hasn’t done this before.
Someone needs to sue his ass and make his out of control anger expensive.
June 28th, 2013 @ 1:31 pm
Paula Deen was a valuable commodity. No problem dumping her.

I don’t know if Jesse ever sought forgiveness for spitting on the food he served to White folks.

Maybe that’s the reason he defended her. Sharpton defended her too. They’ve done plenty – and said plenty – far worse than Deen, and they know it.

“Character flaws.” What a bunch of New Age crap!
Whatever happened to the simple, “The guy is just a total asshole!”? If it was good enough for our Founding Fathers, dammit, it’s good enough for me!

Alec Baldwin is like Schmalfeldt: an enforcer. So long as Every movement needs its Lavrenty Beria, its Che Guevaras. Hollywood has Alec Baldwin.

Alec Baldwin was trying to channel some Tony Soprano mojo. But Alec tweeted. Tony Soprano would react in anger like this…
Alec tweeted. How friggin gay is that?
June 28th, 2013 @ 9:17 pm

if you really want to push back – google the commie creep who came up with the plan to Change The Electorate – namely Robert Creamer.
google “Robert Creamer Stand Up Straight”
Interesting how the Media latched onto his strategy, And the Democrat party as a whole, And a bunch of idiot republicans who voted for AMNESTY.
The Tea Party should be all over this. And Boehner should hold hearings on how this devoted follower of Alinsky managed to create a policy that is now followed by Schumer and Obama. Creamer is not some bit-player.
Ah – things are becoming clearer now.

Alec Baldwin is a douchebag…so why not a Rule 5!
June 30th, 2013 @ 1:56 am
I know of many cases where a man insulted another man’s wife in their face and the husband simply punched the insulter. Although I wouldn’t support it as a way of life, it’s usually OK. Alec got angry and tweeted (!!!). Tweeted. He didn’t even punch the guy. And I have seen women slap a man who insulted them too. And it was quite deserved. Again, not to be supported as a way of life, but hey…
And now Alec can’t call some slimy journo who was purposefully digging for dirt on his wife some slurs – and specifically, you’re here to tell him he can’t call the journo some slurs related to being sexually deformed with a homosexual problem?
What if he had called the journo slurs in his face? You’d tell Alec to be quiet? Is that what you do any time someone gets angry for being insulted or having their family insulted?
And seriously, you have a problem with “gay baiting”? People with a homosexuality agenda are destroying society and perpetrating violence throughout society and you are upset about “gay baiting”?
Wow
A rich celebrity who goes insulting others without provocation or reason is one thing; a rich celebrity who reacts to being targeted for insults and reacts is something else
Lastly, the icing on the cake here was Baldwin being forced to apologize by the Garbage-LAAD hyena pack and then saying that when he said “queen” he didn’t mean anything related to homosexuality, just “being above” ahahhahahah

RSM, the real issue here is that Liberals are held to a much lower standard of behavior than Conservatives/Libertarians are. They can do or say whatever they damn well please, and are not held accountable for their actions…remember, actions only have repercussions if you’re Republican and/or Conservative…
