I think Harvard and the rest of American academia is far more insidious.

After three generations of indoctrination, the PRK still has to maintain labor camps for dissenters. If it were so effective, they wouldn’t need the camps. But people understand when they do not have enough to eat.

At the University, the student is surrounded by comfort and the trappings of freedom. His indoctrination is more subtle, reinforced by his peers, yet relentless and all-encompassing. In fact the liberal faculties understand there are few or no conservatives among them, and believe that is proper, just as they would not “diversify” with those who believe the earth is flat.

But the solution to both wretched systems is the same. The only way to deal with the Norks and the Academy was prescribed long ago by J.D. Loudermilk:

Bring that dynamite and a crane,
Blow it up, tear it down, start all over again.

For communist countries that are basically static geographically I really do wonder if there if any external way to bring bad ideas to a quicker end. Governments seem pretty darn ineffective, they use bombs and bullets that cost much and return little. Sanctions and more sanctions seem to be the exclusive pursuit of government and as pretty ineffective.
