As the feminists say: “Trigger alert!”
Has any recent mass-murderer killed more children than Dr. Gosnell?

Salon communications director declares Bush worse murderer than Gosnell bit.ly/154ChCM

Wow! The communications director of Salon — their dismissive treatment of this horror turned into a talking-point on CNN where Erin Burnett helped make excuses for the dreadful Philadelphia baby-killer — suddenly erupts into a deranged Bush-bashing rage? On the same day that the story finally breaks through the orchestrated cone of silence?
Questions about why major news organizations were refusing to cover gruesome revelations in the trial of Philadelphia abortion clinic operator Dr. Kermit Gosnell finally boiled over today: A Washington Post health reporter told blogger Mollie Hemingway that Gosnell’s trial was a “local crime” story, not a matter of policy and Breitbart.com’s John Nolte posted a photo of empty seats in the reserved press section at Gosnell’s trial. Finally, Conor Friedersdorf, a writer for the liberal Atlantic Online published a column with the headline: “Why Dr. Kermit Gosnell’s Trial Should Be a Front-Page Story.“
Read the rest, including the part about how Salon’s been losing money practically since the beginning of the Internet.
Meanwhile, you may remember that on Tuesday, I tried to get feminists to comment on this heinous homicidal butchery:
OH. EM. GEE. dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2… Any comment? @sandrafluke Hello?@amandamarcotte Hello? @lenadunham Is this Twitter thing working?
— Robert Stacy McCain (@rsmccain) April 10, 2013
And you will perhaps be pleased to learn that Amanda Marcotte has finally commented on the Gosnell story — by blaming this baby-killing monster on pro-life conservatives!
You just can’t make this stuff up . . .

Yes I blame Gosnell on you anti-choicers.
If one is going to lie, lie big.

Gosnell’s “clinic” (I prefer Jonah Goldberg’s term, “abattoir,” for accuracy’s sake) opened in the late ’80s, such “inspections” as were conducted failed to cite his violations (even those noted), and he wasn’t inspected after the mid-’90s, AT ALL). We may never know the total number of babies he murdered after they were born alive.
Some are calling him another Josef Mengale. I don’t think they are the same – although both will certainly burn at the same temperature in hell – because for all his evil, Mengale appears closer to insane. He performed ghastly experiments on living people, and children, but he kept detailed notes as if he thought he was doing some sort of scientific research. Not crazy enough to avoid the gallows, but there were some synapses shorting out somewhere.
Gosnell killed for money. He is surely the highest-paid serial killer of all time, some of the mob hit men may have been paid more per hit but Gosnell kept a full schedule at his abattoir, seldom even pausing long enough to clean the room.
He cut off babies’ heads for money. You couldn’t sell a horror movie with that plot line, it seems just too far over the top.

I think it’s time to ask Verum Serum’s question from 2011 Who refereed his patents to them, was it perhaps Planned Parenthood clinics?

Via Michelle Malkin, I found a link to the Grand Jury Report on Gosnell’s practices. It’s a very disturbing read and what he did is absolutely disgusting.

I’d be curious to know if Gosnell contributed to any politicians or political causes over the course of his “career” and if so, who and how much.
April 13th, 2013 @ 8:14 am
We’ll also never know how many mothers died or were injured as a result of his crimes.
April 13th, 2013 @ 8:45 am
Indeed, blaming murders on those seeking to save the victims is sweet, sweet Orwellianism.

I do not often feel ashamed for my country and humanity, but when I do, it’s usually over a #Gosnell figure.

I forget who came up with it decades ago, but somebody back then called them “abortuaries.”

I believe that the pro-choice crowd considers a fetus just a blob of tissue, but how do they rationalize killing a full-term baby? They have to be delusional in order to do it.

I have a few, probably stupid and irrelevant questions:
If the NRA bears responsibility for Newtown, in spite of advocating safe and responsible firearms use, why does not NARAL bear at least the same responsibility for Gosnell, especially since he has long practiced what they exist to promote?
If every gun owner in America is complicit in Newtown, then why is not every abortion supporter complicit in Gosnell?
If we are expected to abandon the Second Amendment “if it saves just one kid’s life,” then what justification is there for legal abortion, at all?
Can Melissa Harris-Perry justify how one person can selfishly dispose of what actually belongs to the community? Why does not “the community” get to make decisions whether an abortion occurs?

Actually, ethical questions have been raised on using the results of Mengele’s research. From what I understand, there is a great deal that was learned from what he did, but that does not lessen the horror by which it was found.
April 13th, 2013 @ 12:46 pm
He is the creation of the selfishness of you pro-aborts. Pro-life is pro-choice at its penultimate. The pro-abort position is all about selfishness. A selfishness that would will a defenseless child die for the convenience of an irresponsible mother.
You pro-aborts are the literal scum of the earth.

You can probably tell, I hate myself. I hate you for not being like me. I am miserable and my life turns on the rejection of life.
So is it any wonder I would promote killing my own child and would make my life mission promoting such “feminist” values.

Your incoherence marks you as a moron. It’s a common problem with radical feminists. And, yes, you do support the killing of inconvenient infants. The thinking that surrounds such feminism makes it far worse than Naxism. It’s past time you faced the reality of what you support and enable.
April 14th, 2013 @ 5:15 am
According to the Grand Jury Report, at least two known mother’s deaths and a great number of injuries.
April 14th, 2013 @ 11:51 am
Because of privacy laws, esp guarded in abortion cases, we will never know but I guarantee there were many more injuries and fatalities.
April 14th, 2013 @ 2:44 pm
I certainly believe that there were, I don’t think anything else is possible. I’m just quoting what the report said. Given what the report describes about Gosnell’s practices and his abbatoir, there is not other possibility than the deaths and injuries described being only the tip of the iceberg.
