Everybody Hates Piers Morgan

The petition to deport Piers Morgan is now nearing 90,000 signatures — which is what I’d call “a good start” — and this groundswell of antipathy to being lectured by a smarmy Brit on CNN has now reached America’s youth, including Michael Butler at The High School Conservative:
Piers Morgan “has a case of the sads” over the deportion petition, tweeting things such as “Ironic U.S. gun rights campaign to deport me for ‘attacking 2nd amendment rights’ – is my opinion not protected under 1st amendment rights?” One witty twitter user responded with “You ignore the Constitution, why shouldn’t they?” For those of you wondering if we really can deport Piers Morgan for being stupid, we can. James Taranto of the Wall Street Journal explains, “Your opinion is protected, your presence in the U.S. is not. See Kleindienst v. Mandel (1972).” . . .
There is also a response petition from British citizens which reads, “We got rid of him once and why should we have to suffer again. The Americans wanted him so they should put up with him. We washed our hands of him a long time ago.”
The Brits don’t want him back and everybody in America hates him. Maybe we should send Piers Morgan to France — or even worse, Canada!
It doesn’t matter, as long as we #DeportPiersMorgan.

Smitty, You know how Putin banned American’s from adopting Russian kids because one woman returned her Russian kid……what if we returned Piers Morgan to the UK? Do you suppose the British would ban any more of their pansy asshats from coming to the US? Just sayin….it worked with the Russians 😉

The First Amendment recognizes and guarantees one’s right to expression but does NOT protect one from the consequences of that expression.

Pity the poor “journalists” Morgan and David Gregory: don’t you people understand that they are merely Speaking Truth to Power and upholding the People’s Right to Know (What We Want Them to Know)(TM)??? How DARE people complain and criticize??? They really ARE better than you, and don’t you forget it!

I know our northern neighbors can be annoying, but foisting Morgan on them would be a disservice.
How about Mexico?

Act of war, quite possibly. However, with this administration, it’s not a problem.
I favor sending him to Venezuela.

I can agree with that.

“Journalism is not a profession or a trade. It is a cheap catch-all for fuckoffs and misfits — a false doorway to the backside of life, a filthy piss-ridden little hole nailed off by the building inspector, but just deep enough for a wino to curl up from the sidewalk and masturbate like a chimp in a zoo-cage.” — Hunter S. Thompson

As much as I’d love to sign the petition, there’s no way I’m giving the White House my email address!

Get CNN to make him correspondent in Saudi Arabia, or Iran. I could live with Sudan, Egypt, Libya, Chad, Mali, Timbuktu, or NE Nigeria. Then let him voice his opinions.
Actually, He’d fit right in back in his old homeland. The government is owned by similar morons. Elections have consequences in the UK as well.

Fin and SDN, whadid Stacy ever do to youse guys?
December 28th, 2012 @ 6:33 pm
He didn’t do anything to me, really, I’m just a fellow curmudgeon.

They hate him there. He was accused of hacking cell phones – that never really went anywhere. The final straw was when he ran a false story about the british military in the daily mirror. They fired him, that’s why he came here.
December 28th, 2012 @ 7:01 pm
That is exactly correct.
I would not deport Piers for saying stupid things. I would encourage Obama to deport him because he hates Great Britain and what better way to show it than sending back Piers Morgan.
December 28th, 2012 @ 7:02 pm
So Piers Morgan wants to remain in the horrible, arcane country he essentially considers beneath him?
The cognitive dissonance… it burns!

They haven’t sent me a blasted thing since I started signing petitions. Maybe I shouldn’t have set up an email account with die-spammer-die.com
December 28th, 2012 @ 7:21 pm
Don’t send him to Canada…. we may get to be friends with them again when (and if) Obama leaves office.
December 28th, 2012 @ 7:25 pm
Obama won’t drop this WMD anywhere, except maybe Texas
December 28th, 2012 @ 9:28 pm
Deportation? Nay. I favor public execution a la Vlad the Impaler. It would really goose his ratings.
December 29th, 2012 @ 1:22 am
Odds of Morgan surviving more than 20 minutes in Texas? Anyone?
December 29th, 2012 @ 1:26 am
Hate? No. I think he’s a twit. Or something very similar.
December 29th, 2012 @ 11:23 pm
Exactly. Also, of course, he is not a citizen of The United States and is, therefore, here at our sufference.
December 29th, 2012 @ 11:24 pm
Stacy is a reporter, not a journalist – there’s a difference.
