EUSSR?

Insty reminded me to write a post on this, via Hannan:
I guess you’re not supposed to note that they put the hammer and sickle atop the cross, at the same level as the muslim crescent, all of which, along with the yin-yang, superior to the star of David. And the notion that the symbols are distributed randomly within a five-pointed star shape (itself associated, inter alia, with Communism).
If the hammer and sickle are fit for this sort of thing, why are the Hindus not allowed a swastika in there? You can’t help but juxtapose this religious farce with the EU being awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.
The Nobel committee in Oslo chose to ignore the multiple crises threatening the EU. Instead, it took the longer and bigger view, praising the EU’s historical role in promoting reconciliation and peace, and warning its collapse would see an ominous return to “extremism and nationalism”.
Announcing the decision, Thorbjørn Jagland, head of the Nobel committee, said: “The main message is that we need to keep in mind what we have achieved on this continent, and not let the continent go into disintegration again.” The alternative was “awful wars”, he warned bluntly.
What is it with Scandinavia and Quislings? When war does come, and these EUnuchs are feckless to halt it, I do hope they wave their Nobel Prize as they are offered on the altar of Ares.
Update: thank you, Instapundit.

Interesting how religious symbols can be hijacked for ulterior motives. The Euros deserve what they get, if you ask me, as do we if we don’t change our course.

Have you ever seen a group that lies as much as the progressive/communist movement? The only group or sect that lies as much are the followers of islam. That’s why Christians can spot them a mile away. That poster is pure evil, attempting to link the Cross to their wicked plots. Blasphemy.

I left out the Star of David, which is the symbol given by God himself to his chosen people, which cannot be put below any symbol of man, including lying communists, corrupt muslims, or any other false sense of equivalence these liars spew out.

I don’t know much, but I don’t think there’s anyway that they can unify Europe no matter how many symbols they come up with.

There is a way to unify europe. It’s been done before. The Church is Europe and Europe is the Church.

Anyone recall Marxism’s attitude toward religion? Anyone? Bueller?
I left this remark at the Telegraph link: “Wouldn’t that be like putting Guy Fawkes’ face in a portrait of celebrated Britons?”

Why the hell does Europe need to be unified anyway?

Thorbjørn Jagland was overheard muttering “We realized that after the 2009 award, what the hell, it’s not like we have any credibility left anymore anyway.”

I just watched 2016. My stomach got tied up in knots watching it. We have to get rid of that commie.

“he is finding it difficult to continue his treatment because the press
is staking out his home…”
Just curious: How much did Jackson Jr. follow in his father’s footsteps of harassing and demonizing political opponents, and extorting money from anyone who seemed vulnerable? In other words, should I feel any sympathy for Jackson?

Sorry, don’t know how this got on the wrong thread.

Europe or what’s left of it will make a great theme park after it’s retaken from the caliphate.

Unfortunately that model broke some time in the 15th century and was officially declared dead in the 17th, despite all my ancestors could do to force the endemonised Protestants into correct behavioral patterns. 😉

The swastika is also an important symbol in Buddhism. Mind you, the Buddhist swastika has a reverse orientation to the Nazi swastika, so it could probably be used, but for ignorance.

Nevertheless, if the international symbol for Communism is there then so should the Nazi symbol be as well. There is no moral distinction between the two.

In “Mein Kampf” Hitler states succinctly that he was a Marxist. Stalin said that Hitler was the icebreaker of the Revolution and the two were bosom buddies. Stalin helped Germany develop new weapons under the treaty of Rapallo.
Churchill tried to get Stalin to go after Germany by disseminating disinformation. Stalin didn’t bite, but Hitler did. It was an act of gross hypocrisy for France and the UK to declare war against Germany over Poland. Stalin was there too, yet we took on Stalin as an ally. It was an act of monumental idiocy and we paid for it from 1945 to 1990.

Sorry to spoil the Quisling/Commie/EUSSR-fest… The poster is a joke. Originally published in the Daily Squid, a Brussels satirical online magazine. After that message from the weird world of reality, let the hate commence!

Just because a “visionary” tried to unite Europe in the 1930s/1940s doesn’t mean it was a good idea!

wait… officially?
