Kerry Gauthier really owes his constituents a thorough explanation. Not that I care fig #1 what Kerry and consenting adults get up to, insofar as laws are unbroken. Yet this post, besides a free swipe at the risible Gerry Connolly (go, Chris Perkins!), is intended to raise awareness to the media effort to smear Todd Akin and draw attention from a public figure who:

Authorities have said Gauthier, 56, admitted having a liason with the boy. They say he won’t be charged in the July incident because the boy was older than 16, the legal age of consent, and no money was exchanged.

    Since a Democrat backing up the plumbing is only appealing to his party base, let’s ask them a more embarrassing question: If the Obama campaign is so outraged by a rape comment, why is the President continuing to support governments throughout the Middle East that endorse, promote and practice female genital mutilation?

    The seventeen year old is a consenting adult in that state, so I agree with you.

    The bigger moral issue is where the incident happened: at a rest stop. In other words, this was a man engaging in anonymous sex in a public place – that’s disgusting and speaks to a depraved mind.

    The issue I was trying to get at here is why conservatives permitted the Left to have 100% control of the news cycle, and focus on Todd Akin, when Kerry Gauthier was running around, naughty bits akimbo.
    What a study in idiocy, on multiple levels.

    Quite. This is one of the issues surrounding this whole story that has really ticked me off.

    I must say, the actions of Rush Limbaugh, Michelle Malkin [who engaged in some Leftist-like sarcasm using the #magicaluterus* hashtag], and other normally sensible conservatives has been very disappointing – to put it mildly.
