Advertising Your Wares On The Back Of Another’s Hypocrisy

I’ll give D’Souza 8 out of 10 here. He loses points for (a) not helping in the sense of a ‘random act’, and (b) announcing the act. To be clear: he’s got a movie to peddle. Having said all that, George Obama offers a nice window (or maybe a microscope’s aperture) into the soul of Barack Obama:
One of Obama’s favorite phrases comes right out of the Bible: “We are our brother’s keeper.” Yet he has not contributed a penny to help his own brother. And evidently George does not believe, even in times of emergency, that he can turn to his brother in the White House for help.
So much for spreading the wealth around.
Obama’s refusal to help George is especially surprising because George doesn’t just live in American-style poverty but rather in Third World poverty. He lives in a shanty in the Huruma slum in Nairobi. He gets by on a few dollars a month. Obama also has an aunt named Hawa Auma, his father’s sister, who ekes out a living selling coal on the streets of a small village in Kenya. She says she would like to have her teeth fixed, but she cannot afford it. Obama hasn’t offered to help her either.
And here is D’Souza’s flick:
Obama might be many things, but a ‘nice guy’ is not among them.

Perhaps – and this is pure speculation – this is because Obama has been taking care of his real half-sisters and half-brothers, Lynn, Beth, Jeanne, Jill, and Mark…

Looks like voters may take care of Obama too. What goes around comes around.

LOL.
But seriously, since BHO is a Progressive, he replaces God with the state. Can’t you just feel the warm, caring hands of Obamatax and Dodd-Frank helping all of our brothers and sisters in state?

Is that what I’m feeling inserting a hot poker up my arse?

I think Dinesh should get a pass on broadcasting his good works because he was making the point that Obama for all his rhetoric and self righteousness can’t even help his own brother.
I don’t think he helped the guy ONLY for the publicity either. Otherwise why vet his reason for his plea?
I think the Lord also enjoys schadenfreude now and then.

Anybody who helps reveal the real O, I can’t find fault with.

YOW!

I concur. I don’t think Dinesh is a shill. The movie struck me in the sense that he wanted to get his message out in an important year. Of course none of his views from the movie were new and were established back in 2010 with his other book The Roots of Obama’s Rage.
If one wants to declare Dinesh as guilty of ‘advertising his wares on the back of (Obama’s) hypocrisy’ then you may as well indict the entire blogosphere–particular those blogs who press for tip jar hits in exchange for making audiences aware of that stench in

So Dinesh announced his charity to George Obama. It wasn’t bragging or pushing his movie so much as it further illustrates OBlamer’s hypocrisy in the unforgiving glare of the public spotlight. Especially at a time when Obama’s campaign is ramping up the ugly towards conservatives and the Romney campaign. Anyone paying attention in the least has to see that.
Dinesh’s move was an announcement for the greater good in that it gives more people who still worship at the altar of Obama the opportunity to pause (hopefully) to reconsider their devotions and it is a fantastic slap in the face of Obama’s image.
I’d say it’d be a slap in Barry’s face but since he doesn’t seem to have any care to put his money (or our money) where his mouth is where his own relations are concerned it at least serves as a marker.

People should be wary of Mr. D’Souza – after all, he’s the man who believes conservatives and Muslims can make common cause because they share a lot of the same moral values.
Ex1: D’Souza believes that traditional Muslims are not too different from traditional Jews and Christians in America. Towards the end of the interview he admitted that he and Islamic militants share some of the same negative beliefs about liberal Americans.
Ex2: D’Souza debated Robert Spencer about Islam on March 1, 2007 at the Conservative Political Action Conference and labelled Spencer an “Islamophobe”.
