Stacy’s location remains undisclosed, and he’s asked me to head up the results. Legal Insurrection has a swell Social Media plug-in. We did that once for, I seem to recall, the ObamaCare vote. Neat technology, but not much historical trace there.
Memeorandum has the Democrat’s sucking chest wound on display:
- Robocalls lying
- Recall recount preps
- Dems cry foul
- Obama emails for Barrett
- Nasty robocalls
- Dems claim dirty tricks
- Wisconsin votes
I’m giving one point to Walker for every Memorandum bullet, for a total of 7. Prediction: Walker: 54.5% to Barrett: 47.5%. Furthermore, I bet the Dems pick up one WI Senate seat and claim a 120 dB moral victory, while demanding a recount and making Glenn Close in Fatal Attraction appear to be having a rough morning by comparison as they make the remainder of Walker’s tenure a total bed of roses.
8:56 PM EST: The Campaign to Defeat Obama notes:
Polls also show Republican Lt. Governor Rebecca Kleefisch holding a narrow lead over Democrat Mahlon Mitchell.
21:05 PM EST: Drudge has a 5 point margin, and points to the AP with an even-handed story. How stupid will the unions look if the whole drama boils down to a 2008 re-run?
21:09 PM EST: Forget 2008; nostalgia buff Donald Douglas wants a re-run of FL2000:

Can’t we just watch Death Race 2000 instead? 21:12 PM EST: Ain’t over until it’s over:
#Wisconsin. TV news saying recall race is too close to call. IT’S ALL UP TO YOU. Your vote counts! Stay in line! Stay. in. line! #WI — RQ Skye (@rqskye) June 6, 2012
21:18 PM EST: Via Dan Riehl, via Gretawire, the Scott Walker event: 21:22 PM EST: The Camp of the Saints has a lively aggregation going. Do not miss. 21:26 PM EST: Perhaps the following numbers are from MakingItUpAsYouGo.com:
Polls in #WI closed. Preliminary exit polls show Walker/Barrettt 50/50 . #DEM #GOP — Shirley C (@ghhshirley) June 6, 2012
21:28 PM EST: Oh, some closer-to-reality numbers:
4% Reporting: Walker 56 – Barrett 43. Kleefisch 56 – Mitchell 44 #WI
— John R. Dykstra (@John_R_Dykstra) June 6, 2012
21:30 PM EST: This is where you point out that the precincts matter, and expect the numbers to close slightly, as more dense districts report. Those Progressive districts get pretty dense, IYKWIMAITYD.
5% reporting in #WI Walker 58%, Barrett 41%
— Shawn M. Griffiths (@TheShawnG) June 6, 2012
21:37 PM EST: Unexpected new White House spokesman Sgt. Schultz (while Jay Carney occupies a corner of the briefing room in a fetal position, thumb clenched by lips): 21:42 PM EST: Do avail yourselves of Evil Blogger Lady’s excellent roundup. 21:51 PM EST: SHOCKING ECONOMIC FALLOUT from this election (at an undisclosed location):
#tcot Headline: WALKER COVERS THE SPREAD; STACY LOSES $10! — Robert Stacy McCain (@rsmccain) June 6, 2012
Walker’s big win costs me $10 because I bet the under. Blame the Koch brothers. #tcot — Robert Stacy McCain (@rsmccain) June 6, 2012
Meanwhile, somewhere, Andrew Sullivan is wondering what to do with the sudden windfall of a pair of fives. . .
Also, we are linked by the gracious Lonely Conservative.

Death Race 2000 is definitely a cult classic. David Carradine, Sylvester Stallone before he was in Rocky, Roger Corman producing, and that’s before we even get to the cars running people over as part of a sport.
