Sandra Fluke Flunks on MSNBC

Well-known Georgetown University “women’s issues” expert Sandra Fluke was asked on MSNBC to comment about a recent case in which an Indiana woman was fired from her job teaching at a Catholic school because she had undergone in-vitro fertilization treatments. To which Fluke’s answer could be summarized briefly as, “Duh.”

    I am surprised that Indiana did that, but I understand why they did that.  

    As for Sandra Fluke being a dumb ass, no surprise at all.

    We should start a boycot on MSNBC, a la rush limbaugh, its time they changed their business model, these people are an insult to thinking Americans. At least to those who are informed, which is evidenced by the kool aid drinkers who still turn to that disgusting piece of yellow rag journalism.

    Well, it will be a good day when they ask “women’s advocates” like this little twerp what they think about, oh, let’s say, the new law in Egypt that men can still have sex with their wives after they kill them. (Honor killings, I am sure.) Ask her what she thinks of the fact that, in those countries, she would be buried up to her waist, and stoned to death for talking with, much less LIVING with, her boyfriend.

    Let’s get real.

    Why surprised? As for freedom “from” religion where did he get that idea. Why would anyone be surprised when an employee violates the ethics of an institution that an individual works for results in termination.

    She’s nothing special, to be sure, but the fault in that clip lies with the interviewer.  She was right to avoid expressing an opinion on a case she knows nothing about.

    Since he is clearly sympathetic to the point of being partisan, he should have given her a heads-up on the case before the show – she could have looked it up while waiting to go on.  It’s not like he was trying to catch her off guard.

    Fluke: “Let me just say that women in Catholic institutions should have free access to any desired healthcare.”

    Her answer served MSNBC’s purposes which was to spout something about womens absolute right to “womens health” however they choose to define it.
    I’ve noticed that whenever the left talks about “womyns health’ it’s always about contraception, abortion or even breast cancer, medically aided efforts at getting pregnant not so much.
