After yesterday’s post about Jennifer Stefano, Bob Beckel’s F-bomb and Neal Boortz’s “rabid shrew” comments, the ladies at AFP Pennsylvania hail me as a “BeckelGate Hero.”

No kidding: Despite his ideological liberalism and Democratic partisanship, Bob Beckel is beloved by (almost) everyone who knows him. Beckel is a recovering alcoholic who has helped counsel many others with similar problems. And being the token Democrat on Fox News has got to be a tough job.

    Re Beckel:  his lot is no tougher than that of every conservative on every news show broadcast by ABCNBCCBSNPRPBSCNNMSNBC for the past five decades.  And if one of them had done what Beckel did, the firestorms would rage for a month.  I’m cutting him no slack whatsoever.  That’s the way they play the game.  That’s the way I play it, too.

     Exactly, we need to be as hard core and hateful with them as they are with us, otherwise we’ll always be at a disadvantage. They want us to fight them like they expect our troops to fight the enemy (whom the Democrats show far more concern for) when they are sent in combat, with one arm tied behind their backs.

    The most shameful episode I can think of in recent memory was when Al Sharpton attacked Allen West for pointing out the Democrats racial history, and how Democrats are running what amounts to a modern welfare plantation. Almost nobody came to West’s defense. We all should have rallied around him and demanded the “conservative” pundits in the media do so as well. And it should be a constant attack, not just a one or two day defensive maneuver.

    I enjoyed seeing Jennifer Stefano again (saw her at CPAC); too bad she was with Bob Beckel who is just snorty-rude.

    Clue for the clueless: even if people agree with you (which no one does here), they’re still going to think you’re stupid for posting in text speak.  It’s the height of selfishness to impose on all your readers with your mutilated spelling so that you can save 10 seconds of typing.

    That’s true, and besides, I’m wondering if we’re talking about the same guy here….

    I see Beckel and he is irritating.  There are other leftists out there that I don’t dislike as a person.  Beckel strikes me as  jerk.
