Satan Angered by New Poll Showing Santorum Ahead 34%-18% in Wisconsin

MORGANTOWN, W.Va.
Stopped in here at McDonald’s and got online to discover that Satan’s plan to destroy America is now the top story in the country. This is why neutral objective journalist George Stephanopoulos interviewed neutral objective Mitt Romney supporter Chris Christie about the urgently relevant Satan issue today.
Stephanopoulos and Christie: What a team, huh?
Meanwhile, a new poll conducted by Marquette University shows Republican voters in Wisconsin are clearly anti-Satan:
Rick Santorum ………… 34%
Mitt Romney …………… 18%
Ron Paul ………………… 17%
Newt Gingrich …………. 12%
The poll of 424 likely Republican primary voters was conducted Feb. 16-19. Wisconsin’s GOP primary is April 3.
How did I learn about this poll? From a Rick Santorum campaign press release, which is not how neutral objective journalists like George Stephanopoulos get their news tips. Instead, they call up their friends at the Romney campaign, arrange an interview with one of Romney’s prominent supporters, and call that “news.”
Also, neutral objective journalists like George Stephanopoulos never drive to Ohio or stop at a McDonald’s in West Virginia to get lunch off the Dollar Menu and use the free WiFi.
Satan’s minions do it their way. I do it mine.

“Gosh, Miss Lane, it sure is strange how you never see Valerie Jarrett and Beelzebub together.” #SantorumOntoSomething

You could have mentioned a rather lengthy exploration of the numbers, but then again, I’m an analyst, not a headline writer.

Well, heck…I’m no longer going to pray to St. Michael The Archangel, but to St. Stacy The Archgonzo!

BTW: Thanks Stacy for the FMJRA.

Hmmmm. So is Satan to blame for this? Now this would be an interesting question to ask at the debate tonight…

Getting too close.
I’ll have to lock the door tonight…

Oh and great headline…

I’m with Don. I’ve written at my place and at Wizbang over the last couple of days about the relevance of the Satan comments, what Christie doesn’t realize is that he’s right, just not for the reason that he “thinks” he’s right.

So this Wisconsin poll shows Obama beating Santorum by 11 and Romney by 15. Obama beat McCain by 14%, so they are saying it’s all the same now as then, more or less. Despite Walker and the reforms?
Believe it if you want to.

Just thought of a campaign coverage angle Mr. McCain: follow the remaining Republican conflagration from the old U.S. highway system (not sure, but you may have been following old U.S. 40 to morgantown), thus providing a history lesson of the old road system at the same time!

The more I hear about Santorum, the more I warm up to him. He’s not everything I want in a candidate, but given the others I think I can vote for him.
And yes, Mickey D’s is very useful for the cheap eats and free wi-fi. That may be one of the best business decisions they ever made because even on the rural Eastern Shore of Virginia I can find a McDonalds and connect for my job.

Yeah, but it’s still early, OWS hasn’t been able to work their magic this summer, and McCain didn’t have the looming spectre of $5/gallon gas as a bennie.

I think Satan might be smiling right now.

Now I have you with me, under my power
Our love grows stronger now with every hour
Look into my eyes, you will see who I am
My name is Lucifer, please take my hand

It could be a good hook to hang a few chapters of the book on.

Part of that is the (IMHO) out-of-whack demographics. Part of it is the same reason the last Republican to win Wisconsin in a Presidential election was Reagan.
