What kind of bigoted hatemonger would dare to promote the stereotype that African-Americans enjoy dressing up in colorful clothing and engaging in outrageous dancing to simplistic songs with pulsating rhythms? That man’s name would be the late, great Don Cornelius:

Pamela Geller pays tribute to the entertainment impressario whose weekly TV program was the Fabulous Funkadelic School of Super-Smooth Moves where all the kids learned to dance back in the day.

R.I.P., Brother Don.

Every Saturday, late morning, the 1970’s: watch Chief Jay Strongbow do his thing, then watch Don Cornelius and the gang do their thang [a stone gas, honey]; then go watch Dick Clark and his gang try to get their groove on.  Memories…

    Requiescat in pace, brother.
