Is There a Real ‘Elizabeth Reichert’?

CHARLESTON, S.C.
Last night when we left the Pro-Life Presidential Forum in Greenville, the windshields of most of the cars in the parking lot were festooned with pink flyers attacking Rick Santorum and his wife, Karen. This propaganda was attributed to a self-proclaimed pro-life activist who signed herself “Elizabeth Reichert, Parker, S.C.”
As soon as I got online, I Googled the name and the only mention of this person I could find was at Will Folks’s “FITS News” blog.
This, I suggest, is mighty damned suspicious. Remember that Folks is the slimeball who claimed to have had an affair with Gov. Nikki Haley. How was it that Folks got the “news” of this flyer online — the full text of a two-sided flyer — so shortly after the flyers were (anonymously) distributed at this pro-life event?
And who is Elizabeth Reichert? If she was a well-known pro-life activist, don’t you think there would have been some reference to her online beyond the Folks instant transcription of her flyer? But either there is no such person, or else this phenomenally Web-savvy pro-life activist — who managed to search out the cheap smear on Karen Santorum — has left no trace of her existence online.
Strangely enough, Rick Santorum responded to a BuzzFeed reporter’s question about the flyer. But when I saw Santorum’s communications director Hogan Gidley the other day, Hogan refused to comment. So you see how this alleged “Elizabeth Reichert” and her flyer, publicized by the slimeball Will Folks, managed to make the attack on Santorum’s wife a sufficiently legitimate story that the candidate felt the need to respond to it.

Will Folks is a slimeball

Just did a little Googling myself. Here’s a mention of an Elizabeth Reichert as advisor to a student Right to Life Club, accompanying them on a march in DC, early last year.

“‘You can tell a man who boozes
By the company he chooses.’
And the pig got up and slowly walked away.”
Liz Reichert may be honestly pro-life, but her association with Folks makes me question her judgment and people skills. Can’t she find a better grade of douchebag to hang out with?

Better maybe, bigger not likely.

This statement of your makes me question your intelligence. Read the Will Folks article again, he just reported about the flyer and that it was a classic SC dirty trick, he didn’t post soem exclusive interview of this Elizabeth Reichert or anything.
Google “Elizabeth Reichert” + Santorum. Lots of blogs and news sites have now reported the flyers based on their first hand evidence. Will Folks could be the first to report, TOM could be the second, but there were many that reported later.
What gives?
I get it, Will Folks beat TOM in “breaking” this news first. That’s something Stacy couldn’t digest. Is that it?
And your guilt-by-association tactic doesn’t stick because there is no evidence of “association”, except that Fits News reported it first. The later reports were not driven by that Fits News report. If anything it was TOM that has a far greater share in spreading this news, because of its higher traffic and google search ranking than Fits News.
I guess its ok to slime a slimeball, but beware of the slime that may be oozing of your own pores.

A hearty ‘Huzzah!’ for Wombat!

Why do you hate Will Folks so much? So he screwed that two-bit scheming, conniving Nikki Haley. Hell, everybody makes mistakes. I used to think she was cool too, and I learned my lesson, so why can’t he? Admittedly, he kept the affair going for a while, unlike the other “douchebag” who stopped after the one time in the front seat of her car, but some people are slow learners.

Now, don’t blog angry!

What makes you think I’m angry? I think its hot. I wouldn’t mind having a go at ol’ Nookie-Nikkie myself. I’m thinking a ten thousand dollar “campaign contribution” might put me in just the right, er, position to make for one hell of a video blog post.

Folks is the Michael Scott of South Carolina: obsessed with turning every conversation into a puerile “That’s what she said!” joke about Nikki Haley. Sic mind, indeed.
January 22nd, 2012 @ 11:08 am
When Haley dismissed talk about her being someone’s VP by saying she was simply “the flavor of the month” of the chattering class, Folks responded with this:
“Thoughts on her actual flavor I’m reserving for my book.” And he posted a pornographic picture of a woman who resembled Haley.
Can’t get much more scummy than that, but to rail against him only prompts him to sling even more scum. Scummy is his whole shtick, so he can’t be shamed. He’s a poor man’s Howard Stern.
