Smitty Loves His Kindle

While he was in Afghanistan, our beloved Admiral developed a serious addiction to his Kindle, downloading e-books to read when he wasn’t fighting the Taliban fleet. I don’t know if he’s tried the new Kindle Fire, but you can buy one for just $199 this week through our Amazon Associates link and it kicks me a little commission to help pay the bills.

    I’m thinking about a Kindle, but I had some other purchases to make first.  Through Amazon, via your link, a place that is better than the current version of eBay.

    For bloggers who would like to use excerpts from electronic books, you can push a quote off of a Kindle to Twitter, then follow your link to where Amazon hosts the quotes.
    I did this the “Throw Them All Out” to get the Jim Moran dirt.
    Beats typing.

    I got a Kindle as a Christmas gift last year, and enthusiastically endorse this product and service. Especially if you buy it in the right place, IYKWIMAITYD.
