He’s an Expert on ‘Fools and Clowns’

“I have a structural hypothesis here. You have a Republican ideology, which Mitt Romney obviously doesn’t believe in. He just oozes insincerity, that’s just so obvious. But all of the others are fools and clowns. And there is a question here, my hypothesis is that maybe this is an ideology that only fools and clowns can believe in. And that’s the Republican problem. . . . The Republican base does not want Romney and they keep on looking for an alternative. And Newt, although — somebody said, ‘He’s a stupid man’s idea of what a smart person sounds like.’ But he is more plausible than the other guys they’ve been pushing up.”
Paul Krugman, on ABC News This Week

Krugman needs to quit looking in the mirror when he talks about others. He is obviously easily confused.

In reality, Krugman is a stupid man’s idea of what a smart man sounds like. Like so many in the Ivies, he’s credentialed, but he’s a moron.

Will someone please ask Krugman what he thinks about Keynes being a Nazi sympathizer back in the 1930’s? I’d pay good money to see his reaction.

somebody said, ‘He’s a stupid man’s idea of what a smart person sounds like.’

And then that “somebody” floated up to the ceiling and out the air vent the way he came in.

Why do we pay any attention to this closet Marxist?

Speaking for myself I enjoy making note of the obvious signs of his imminent and complete mental breakdown. Lock this guy up alone with John Nash in a padded cell and neither one would know the other was there because of the crowd.

About the only places The “Egregious Frum” can get prublished these days are in left wing pubs. Instead of reading the cold Warriors out of teh party (those of us who had serious questions about going into Iraq), he ended up burning his bridges.

Sad thing is Frum really thinks he’s a conservative. Perhaps we could put him in the same cage with Nash and Krugman.

Frum gets attention because he disses Republicans.

Has that scruffy little douche nozzle ever been right about anything?

Back in the early ’90s, it was already said of Krugman that he had “predicted nineteen of the last three recessions.”

And Alien Invasions. Don’t forget the Alien Invasions.

The next time I consider Krugman an authority on something will be the first. Aliens will be nuking space from the Earth, just to be sure, before that happens.

George Will called Gingrich “the classic rental politician” in
the same session. That is less pithy but hurts worse because it’s true.

One thing about Krugman: he’s consistent. He may never be correct, but at least he doesn’t deviate. Even Mr. Tingles Matthews has the quarterly “WTF” moment toward the WH. Not Krugman. H’es Smugman – looking neither left nor right – but comfortable in his Nobel Prize, NYT writing gig, and an habitue’ of the salon.
