The ‘Go-Away’ Money Game

Posted on | November 10, 2011 | 38 Comments

Washington, D.C., has a very rigorous “employment rights” regime, as opposed to, say, Floyd County, Georgia, where I had been working before I joined the staff of The Washington Times in 1997. And the sense of entitled grievance-mongering fostered by “employment rights” was profoundly harmful to the workplace environment.

Specific examples? Yeah, sure, I could cite specific examples, but why bother with any examples from my own experience, when we can talk about Karen Kraushaar?

Kraushaar’s former supervisor at the INS, who was named in Kraushaar’s complaint, characterized the 2003 complaint to ABC News as “frivolous,” and said Kraushaar may have been offered a few extra sick days as compensation.
The supervisor alleged that Kraushaar had a “poor work ethic.”

“Poor work ethic”? Why, you mean to tell me that the kind of people who habitually file workplace complaints aren’t the most industrious, cooperative, team-spirited employees? I’m shocked.

Ace slaps Kraushaar around for her complainin’ ways and says:

Apology time: This woman is not credible at all, plainly wants to be paid to not work, and yes, I should have been more skeptical of her.

So we have Kraushaar, who demands that her employer send her to the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard, because she didn’t think an e-mail was funny. And we have Sharon Bialek, who has a “history,” according to Bill Kurtis, and also seems to be a serious credit risk.

These two women are 50% of Herman Cain’s known accusers, and does anyone want to bet that the other two (still anonymous) accusers have something in their biographies that would suggest bad motives?

    Well put.

Mzzz. Kraushaar is probably also engaging in a righteous bit of cognitive dissonance by convincing herself that she’s strinking a blow for Feminism against The Patriarchy™ by her actions.

As Saint William Clintonus (of the Church of Liberalism) would say, “Sometimes it is difficult to get women to try new and different things”.

I  heard something on Hannity or Mark Levin yesterday and I forget where their source was (maybe Coulter?): Has anyone else noticed that in Cain’s decades long career in which he has worked in many different states, the only sexual harassment claims are coming out of Chicago (where he has never worked) during a 3 year period at the National Restaurant Association?

They also made a connection between the head of the Illinois Restaurant Association, who is some democrat woman that worked with Obama, and whose organization worked hand in hand with the National Restaurant Association, and if I heard correctly, this woman had issues with Cain.

yup, went to Mark Levin’s website and found the link on his twitter to Ann Coulter on the article: http://www.anncoulter.com/columns/2011-11-09.html

I am glad that Ace is getting skeptical of these charges.  Whether Cain is the nominee or not, if these challenges were some sort of Alexrodian coup we better find out.

I think that Cain is a serious contender based simply on the fact that so much effort is being expended to remove him.

His election would shatter paradigms, and I personally believe that he can fire up support and get people out better than anyone else on that stage.

Gingrich might make a better president, but as many cultists LOVE Cain, there is an equal if not bigger HATE Gingrich cult out there.

Cain/Gingrich would be a killer ticket, but I can’t see Gingrich accepting a subordinate role.

Newt wouldn’t hesitate to grab the VP spot.

Like all his recent flirtations with a run for POTUS….he isn’t really serious….he just loves to hear himself talk (I admit to liking most of his talk).

So, serious question.  I haven’t been following a lot of news or blogs or whatever lately.  Are guys like RSM now doing more to keep this narrative alive or combating it?

They are both from Georgia.  Can’t be on the same ticket, can they?  As I recall, Cheney had to go register in Wyoming to be on the ticket with Bush in 2000.

Yeah, according to the 12th Amenment:

    The Electors shall meet in their respective states, and vote by ballot for President and Vice-President, one of whom, at least, shall not be an inhabitant of the same state with themselves;

It makes sense for its time (ratified 1804), but is pretty anachronistic now.

This private investigator ran his voice analysis software on Herman Cain’s denial and on  Bialek’s accusation.  His conclusion: on Herman Cain it read ‘low risk’ (telling the truth) and on Bialek it read ‘high risk’ (lying).  Of course we knew this already, but it’s great seeing independent confirmation.

Actually, are there really two other women, or one each Joel Bennett, Esq. saying that there are two other women?

Bennett, Bialek, and Krashkart may be it.

Honestly, Bob, I regret that Kraushaar is having to be “vetted” like this, but I’m sufficiently experienced in D.C. journalism that I knew — absolutely knew — from Day One of this story that Cain’s accusers would eventually forfeit their anonymity.  And I  also knew that their backgrounds would be scrutinized with a microscope for any hint of bad motives.

You simply cannot accuse a major candidate for president of sexual misconduct without this happening, and I don’t want anyone to think that I’m doing cartwheels of schadenfreude about it. It’s a lose-lose for everybody, and I hate every bit of it.

“These two women are 50% of Herman Cain’s known accusers…”

    or,

“100% of those who have come foward”.
    *******************

no real idea about #3, or #2, with the exception that #2 got a similar payout as kraushaar.

libs were pushing for #5, strength in numbers, but the actual ‘victim’ has never met herman cain.

i’m feeling pretty safe to say that #3 is the dems best, last chance.
    ************************
    grand scheme?
cain was supposed to be judged for the sheer number of complaintants.  at this point, shouldn’t I be free to judge the ‘gaggle’ for how pathetically weak/non-existent there evidence is?

    presser for the quartet/quintet?
    please, pretty please.

Edward, Ace still doesn’t like Cain as a candidate, but that doesn’t mean he wanted to see the guy destroyed by crap like this. And we haven’t seen the end of the story, so it could all go thermonuclear again at a moment’s notice. I’m content to let the story play out, without any sense that Cain’s fate hinges on the opinions of bloggers.

Ace’s ‘apology’ is no more meaningful than David Gregory’s regarding his  Grand Wizard comment.  Ace was all-scandal-all-the-time for far too long to get by with a single off the cuff sentence pointing up his failure to be critical of one accuser, while failing to mention that he chose to believe (or at least pimp) the worst about another candidate, one not of his liking.  His motives were visible, and he has said nothing about that.

Plus, this is a guy who has been making an issue of the LSM’s methods and motives for about as long as he has been blogging.  Yet in this case he clearly went along for the ride on their get Cain express.  There is no excuse for him behaving like that given his track record.  It was willful and malign.

-Your were one of the few who predicted that the names would be revealed.

-I hate every bit of what Gloria and Herman Cain and their family are having to go through.

-Mzz. Bialek has brought all of what she’s going through down on herself.  I feel sorry for her son.

-While it appears that Mzz. Krauhsaar [although the verdict is still out] did not want her name released, I am happy that her kind of person has been exposed.  Too many careers have been destroyed by people like her.  Maybe this will be another nail in the very big coffin of Feminism and another in the one of Political Correctness.

-I think Ann Coulter’s scenario must be investigated.  There are too many coincidences piling up surrounding Chicago.

-I am not, however, enjoying any of this, as it is a big distraction from our fight to restore our freedoms and liberties.  If any Leftists are hurt because of this, frankly, I don’t care.  They’re the ones who are actively trying to tear down everything I hold dear and enslave us to their rancid ideology.  This is just another front that’s been opened in a multi-ffront offensive by the Left.

While the Winston Smith Media is still pushing original unprovable charges “guys like RSM” are the ones pushing the counter attack, at some point as the credibility of the accusers is damaged and the charges refuted at that point it will be the responsibility of bloggers to complete the destruction of despicable character assassins.

I’ve never heard of this technology before and it’s unproven and largely untested. The risk here is that it might be discredited so hanging one’s hat on it might be problematic.

We’ve already had anonymous accusers with vague allegations – and that didn’t work. We’ve got named accusers with specifics – and that didn’t pass the smell test either. Cain gets applause, and positive jumps in the polls with every accusation.

The enemy, however, is a learning, thinking enemy. For every critique we leveled, they found a new accuser to counter our criticism.

So:  what is needed is an unimpeachable source with the worst all sexual crimes. Someone who can’t be critiqued or assailed in any manner without the accuser defiling the Name of G-d. I’m waiting for Sister Angelique Pureheart, who has never voted and only does good work providing meals to the poor, to come forward with an accusation that Cain raped her.

Here’s the kind of crap Mr. Cain is up against…

    From Jazz Shaw:
Herman Cain made his second questionable joke in as many days Thursday, telling a supporter in Michigan who asked the Republican frontrunner how he would beat Obama, “You beat him with a Cain.”

Cain was then asked by a reporter why he used the pun, which could be considered racially offensive. The Republican fruntrunner brushed off the criticism.

“Cain. Herman Cain. C-A-I-N. Do I have to connect all the dots for you?” Cain said according to the Boston Globe.

I was informed rather firmly that he’s registered in Virginia, which as far as I am aware would be satisfactory under the Cheney precedent.

But in any case Adobe Walls has the most important detail up there at 5:58 p.m.: It would only affect Georgia’s now-17 electors, who would almost certainly cast their veep ballots for someone whom the winning ticket could count on to lobby the Senate, if necessary, to go for Gingrich.
