Ah, the granola-heads of #OWS. This recalls the Steven Wright line about breaking up with his girlfriend because he was not into transcendental meditation, and she was not into being alive. Of course, the reality seems to indicate there is a healthy dose of pure creep show at #OWS. Back in the day, though, Garner rocked:

    Jeff Goldstein is a big Rockford Files fan.  It was a great show. 

    Although that trailer at the beach would cost you over a million dollars now.

    I was surprised when I first heard Garner talk about his politics when Reagan was president. Garner wasn’t the affable man I’d come to know and admire; he was bitter and obviously hated the president’s politics.

    James Garner is a cradle Democrat, but I still am a giant fan of his. I watched the Rockford Files during its first run; I was a teen at the time. I re-watched the series about six years ago and enjoyed it probably more since I had an adult perspective. Do be aware that you are watching two actors recite those lines.  That trailer on the beach even at the time (1970’s) would probably not have been allowed by the Calif. Coastal Commission…

    South Park this season has been hitting it out of the park. I saw the special they showed on how they put out an episode. Start to finish takes six days and apparently the only things they’re not allowed to show is any thing actionable.

    Probably comprehends your a major douchbag, so he’s got that going for him.  I doubt he is the first, last or only person who associates a actor with the persona they portray in film or tv.  Strange that.
