It says a great deal that Bush himself condescends to hang out with the enlisted guys who were permanently harmed on his watch.

It says far more that the guys harmed on Bush’s watch really want to hang out with him.

It’s not on Intrade, but I doubt the question posed in the title would get into double digits.

    Yes….I did not like all of his policies, but I did like Bush. Sad to say that I’d vote to give him another term over any of the people presently running.
     
    I’d be a lot happier, though, to vote for his Vice President, but I guess that ain’t happening…..

    If Obama was to play golf with them he’d probably say something like “if you hadn’t been over there shooting at people in their own country that might not have happened to you.”

    Speaking of which, I read somewhere Obama was going to apologize to the Japanese for Hiroshima and Nagasake, but the Japanese sent word through the state department that they would consider that an insult, or shameful, or something like that, so he didn’t do it. This was revealed in one of the Wikileaks documents.

    I’ve met and shook the hand of one president, I’d much rather have shaken the hand of any of the three men in that picture.  President Bush always appeared genuine in his appreciation of those who served. I disagreed with him on a few issues, but always believed he loved this country and wanted to do his best.
