A: He Couldn’t Lead Two Nuns In One Minute Of Silent Prayer?

Da Tech Guy poses the question:

So how can we account for the president[‘s] poor polling within the military when the single most loyal group of supporters (Black Americans) are over-represented by almost 60% vs the general population?

I always preferred one of 2 formulations:

Couldn’t organize a bottle party in a brewery.

Couldn’t lead sailors into a wh*rehouse with an offer of free drinks and p*ssy.

Would Admiral Smitty care to comment on #2? After all, he is a sailor….

Barack Obama couldn’t lead a horse to water — but he’d damn sure want to make it illegal for the horse not to drink.

Obama couldn’t lead Michelle into a restaurant if he smeared himself with butter and bacon.

He couldn’t lead vultures to a stinking corpse.

He couldn’t lead Maxine Waters’ district to loot an iPod store.

It’s because African-Americans in the military are not stupid, and they know that the policies of Obozo and his administration (including the rules of engagement) are hazardous to their lives and to the success of their mission.

Military personnel are overwhelmingly loyal to the country (I would say “patriotic”, but that seems to be one of those words the left have devalued into meaning “ignorant bigot”).  No, I will use the word “patriotic”, because I refuse to let the left have its stupid way, and minorities serving in the military are patriotic, and often people of faith.  They are also self-sufficient adults who don’t believe in existing on hand-outs, and are insulted that The First Black President would see them that way.

Where is the latest military presidential approval poll data? I didn’t know about such a poll–I guess I have been assuming that if it exists it would be suppressed as embarrassing to the Administration. The only military polls Obama wants are the rigged kind, like with DADT.

Obama doesn’t want any military polls at all, including the kind flying American flags.

Old Army saying: ‘When you’re in uniform, you vote Republican, for new gear and better pay. When you’re retired, you vote Democrat, for the bennies.’ That’s changing.

Military folks are extremely attuned: they hear him speak, but do something else. They hear him talk reasonably about dictators and such, and then watch him bow as a dog bows to its master.

And once they are home? DHS labels them terrorists and DOJ refuses to protect their right to vote through absentee methods. In 1996, as a task force voting officer and mail officer, I shipped off hundreds of absentee ballots.

Not one single ballot was counted. “Free Mail” was the excuse.

In 2000, AlGore tried getting military absentee ballots thrown out again. “Free Mail” was the excuse.

The Republicans could have solved the problem, but angering the military serves their interests. For example, the worst thing the Republicans could have done was approve Rummy’s UnderSecretary for Personnel Affairs – worst person to hit the Pentagon in decades. They did, and we’ve paid and will continue to pay sore prices for a long while to come.
