Scapegoater-in-Chief: President Obama Blames Tea Party for High Unemployment

Posted on | August 17, 2011 | 25 Comments

Some have called it the “Magical Misery Tour,” and the allusion to the Beatles’ psychedelic phase is quite apt, because Obama must be tripping:

President Barack Obama accused Republican Tea Party activists of holding back the economic recovery Tuesday, hiking pressure on Congress to pass his yet-to-be unveiled jobs plan.
On the second day of a three-day bus tour of midwestern states, Obama expanded on his theme that political brinksmanship in Washington was harming America’s capacity to speed up the slowed recovery.
“The only question is if, as a nation, we’re going to do what it takes to grow this economy and put people back to work right now,” Obama said as he opened a Rural Economic Forum in a small town in northeastern Iowa. . . .
“The only thing that’s preventing us from passing the bills I just mentioned is the refusal of a faction in Congress to put country ahead of party.
“And that has to stop. Our economy cannot afford it. Our economy can’t afford it.”

If passing legislation proposed by Obama was “what it takes to grow this economy,” don’t you think we might have seen some of that growth after Obama had two years of a Democrat-controlled Congress that rubber-stamped whatever he wanted?

Never mind. Once he stops touring the Heartland — in a Canadian-built bus — Obama’s going to roll up his sleeves and get to work creating some more of those jobs that his $800 billion stimulus was supposed to have created two years ago. But before he creates those jobs, first he’s going to take a vacation on Martha’s Vineyard.

Because he really cares about all those poor unemployed people.

I heard Saint Barack today on the radio saying he can’t wait to reduce the debt as soon as possible…so we can spend more money on job-producing programs. (!!) Really?  That is like someone saying they can’t wait to make a few payments on their maxed out credit cards…so they can go out and charge some meals and maybe buy some DVDs.  Spending more money we don’t have in order to do more of what hasn’t worked: that is his plan.  Hmmm…I wonder if I can find a job somewhere more financially stable, like Canada.

If people had jobs, who would come to these midday rallies anyway?  Teachers – that’s about it.

I think the following needs to be rephrased:

“don’t you think we might have seen some of that growth after Obama had two years of a Democrat-controlled Congress that rubber-stamped whatever he wanted?”

would probably be closer to the truth if it read:

“don’t you think we might have seen some of that growth after a Democrat-controlled Congress had two years of  Obama who rubber-stamped whatever it wanted?”

Face it, the first formulation infers that Obama actually did some of that leadership thing.  He actually abdicated his repsonsibility to Congress for the stimulus AND Obamacare.

Gotta hand it to Obama:  he knows his audience and his potential voters are the very stupid people who can’t think beyond the last sound bite they heard.

When Barry uses the word “jobs”, he doesn’t mean what you think he means.  Barry uses it as a verb, not a noun.  The past tense may be more familiar to you – jobbed.

I don’t think any but the incredibly stupid are going to fall for this meme. Effectively attacking the Tea Party Freedom Fighters is difficult. First he’s punching down and punching down at water to boot. I wonder if his staff knew, before he went on this tour, that they coming up with a detailed plan for job creation. Given their utter cluelessness it will undoubtedly be just another repackaging of the same old sh!t.

You have hear that an isolation cell is a terrible punishment, but in a way, we all are in solitary confinement from birth. We are prisoners inside our skull’s bony walls. We never know how it really feels to be another, think like another, live a different life than our own.

It could be that that isolation is about to end, that science is posed to spring us free. Science already can use the electric impulses of our thoughts to move artificial limbs, and cursors in PCs. From here we only need to take another small step to record and play back our thoughts, emotions, and sense perceptions.

If, and when we can record our minds and play them back to others, it would be the greatest revolution to befall mankind. Imagine if you could play back the experience of going to Mars, or being a future sage of the caliber of Buddha, Ramana, or Christ?  There would be no human experience that you could not feel. You could know how it feels being a woman, a male, a murderer, a madman, a tea partier. What revolution that would bring!

BTW, the damage that this man is causing to our country is beyond measure, I worry at how we can reverse his insane actions. I’ve also seen more NEW action on the birth certificate scandal and believe me, it will be a full blown scandal when the smoke clears. Whooo-Hooo
