We can admit that flannel trumps bespoke in Sean Duffy’s new ad:

However, we can only deplore the sad attempts of one TrogloPundit to credit himself for the product. He had what must have felt like an original, creative idea, but merely proved an echo of such coming from a less hapless head.
Fortunately, we hear that troglodytes regenerate quickly, so that the arm he broke patting himself on the back ought not to affect the steady stream of malodorous posts emerging from the bog.
All of this abuse is heaped in pure jealousy. You see, I’ve submitted ideas for the Patrick Murray campaign. Upon seeing these ideas, the campaign replied with a list of psychologists available for counseling. I didn’t think that a chorus line of sharks in bikinis with frickin’ lasers on their heads and singing “Take a bite out of Federal spending” was too extreme for stodgy Northern Virginia, but I guess opinions vary.

    The humble Trog failed to mention that he had to coach Duffy to perfect his skills enough to roll those others off.

    He couldn’t help Duffy with his axe work, however. What took Sean 12 strikes, the Trog did in 3. (and without an axe)
