Of Course The Democrats Are Playing The Happy Tune In Delaware

CNSNews “Christine O’Donnell’s Win Stuns Delaware Republicans But Thrills Democrats”. If Castle’s been in office since 1993, the Democrat party file on him must be of Michael Moore proportions. Now they have seven weeks to re-write their playbook. Chris Coons may have a pile of cash, but if Mike Castle can’t win a closed primary, exactly how indestructible would he have been against Coons? It’s all bluster, say I.
The ball is in the Tea Party court. The Ruling Class, Democrat and Republican, has bankrupted the country, and must be opposed on all fronts. Go, Delaware, and gimme George:

Of course the Dems are doing that because demonizing O’Donnell is all they got.

The unsaid and unexamined issue in this campaign is Coons is a friggin nut job. Coons is Kucinichist is in his politics and policy positions, but without the quirky charm and hot red head wife.

ugh. she lied about attending princeton everything, pays her bills with campaign donations my Visa, and tries to sue everybody?

I think Delaware just nominated my ex-girlfriend for the US Senate.

But after seeing Rove, National Review & The Standard having a “I think I smoke too much weed” freak out, I hope like hell she wins.

I want ‘em all scared shitless.

    Both sides.

Collateral damage. Getting rid of the incumbents is Priority 1. There is bound to be some disappointment, but keep your eye on the prize.

Precisely. If Castle was so electable how come he couldn’t convince his own party base to nominate him?

The Dims do this every time a real Conservative wins a primary. Do they really think the whole Brer Rabbit routine is fooling anyone?

Ironically, the fact that Mike Castle was viewed as such a shoo-in by most observers in Delaware may have helped O’Donnell’s chances in the fall significantly.

It’s not as if the Democrats have a strong bench in the state (HEY – you keep guys the caliber of Biden and Carper in the Senate, you aren’t exactly overloaded with talent) anyway. There was the legacy attempt with Beau Biden, but he probably has too much that would come out even if he wasn’t afraid of Castle’s 12 straight statewide wins.

So nobody who was remotely qualified for the office on the Democratic side entered the race. If Coons wanted to be the sacrificial lamb, let him – and he was dumb enough to be it. But now he’s supposed to win the seat?

Running against Coons relieves much of the “experience” issue, since his resume isn’t exactly the Encyclopedia Brittanica either. And if the campaign turns on ideas and issues, it helps her chances, especially since Coons’ position on most issues is “What Obama said, mmmkay?”

Oh, and I don’t know if they are still around but if they are, O’Donnell should hire the Pet Shop Boys to play at a rally . . .
