Expect A Typically Torpid Tea Party Take On That

Uncoverage has an important post concerning our Progressive Overlords and the shiny new ways they will offer for us all to help with the financial crisis: “Obama Administration Begins the “Grab” for Private Retirement Accounts“.
That is an unfortunate title, no? I mean, given the amazingly high trust levels built up by the administration (if it looks non-triumphant, rotate the data 180 degrees about the X axis) we can place total confidence in the Administration to do the Fair Thing, ensuring only Bad People feel the pain. After all, Bad People caused all of this angst.
Let us consult again the Alinsky Book of Truth:
- From each according to his ability, to each according to his need.
- If you can’t have it, Bad People can’t have it.
- Bad People have because they stole.
- Having identified Bad People as thieves, it is only fitting and moral that the Administration relieve them of their ill-gotten gains and Fairly distribute them.
Bad People engage in Capitalism. We must thank our Progressive Overlords for saving us from Bad People.
Snark aside, the threat of Nationalizing 401(k) and IRA money underscores the need to repeal the 16th Amendment and ensure that the 9th and 10th Amendments undergo a strong revival.

They are not that stupid. Rather they will slowly bleed your 401k rather than try to take it in one fell swoop.
Then again, they might be that stupid.

Smitty:
I had to look up the word “torpid.” Thanks for improving my English.
BTW, Urgent Agenda has a nice banner on its Web site. I’m not sure why Mr. Katz favors the ground side of the game, but maybe White Plains has proximity?
Have you thought about adding some undergraduate graphic credentials to your posts?

Joe, they are that stupid. I’m sure you’ll recall the health care grab? We stopped contributing to our 401k and are making other arrangements for retirement. We’ll start back if it ever looks like the government might not take it, but right now, it looks pretty hopeless to me. That money won’t be there when I’m old.

Same thing happened in Argentina. They scooped up everything that wasn’t nailed down.

Is anyone surprised? The periodic discussion over Obama’s middle name “Hussein” overlooks his other, which is becoming more evident and well-known…”Hugo”.

This is just one of the waystations on that terror ride called Socialism. We’re nowhere near the end, and if you think this is scary, well!
These cocksuckers really do think 100% taxation is a feasible plan.
