Morgan Freeman: Genius

Emitting more wisdom in one minute than some jokers have in 18 months, or are likely to obtain in a full four years:

The bogus narrative dies in the sunshine of silence.

Too bad Morgan Freeman is not running for President. With an answer like that, I am suspecting he is probably closer to what I like fiscally than many of the potential candidates out there.

Add Morgan Freeman to the short list of movie actors I will pay to see.

    God bless Morgan Freeman.

Awesome. Just goes to show that they don’t want racism ended. As I discussed at my place, Yuri Bez says racism is a tool of subversion.

    Truly, a Free Man.

My favorite quote: “Black history is American history.”

Not “African history”. Not “World history”. Not even “World history”.

“American history”. With all its ugliness, slavery, and oppression, America is where humans of all colors found the opportunity to rise to their highest potential.

I always liked Morgan Freeman, I like him even better now.

Is he a closet Hollywood conservative? I wouldn’t be surprised if he were, and if he supports the Tea Party.

I would add – redemption. Our history may have been ugly in parts, but it held the seed of out own redemption in it’s founding document. Not perfect, far from it. But Good Enough, and always striving to improve.

I don’t think Morgan Freeman is a genius. I think he just has common sense which unfortunately is an uncommon virtue in this day and age. His solution to racism sounds simplistic, simple commonsense solutions often sound ridiculous to our ruling classes.

Many people learned to read due to the efforts of people like Morgan Freeman (remember PBS’s “Electric Company”, which had Morgan Freeman and Rita Moreno, among others?), and I see that there is a lot more to learn from the man.

Yes it’s simple, but simple is Good here. It’s a wisdom that many should have but don’t.

    I wanna see the CONTEXT!

    And…

Morgan Freeman isn’t the President, but he has played one on TV. Twice.

    Freeman/Burns 2012.

Who cares if one is dead? They both played God.

We spend so much time celebrating our “diversity” that we forget to celebrate our sameness. Great video and a much-needed reality check with the racial tension being fomented by the administration.
