URGENT: Florida Threatened By Digusting Toxic Brown Slime
Posted on | June 9, 2010 | 22 Comments
No, not the BP oil spill. I’m talking about Charlie Crist:
Charlie Crist (I) . . . . . 37%
Marco Rubio (R) . . . . 37%
Kendrick Meek (D) . . 15%
That corrupt perma-tanned two-faced backstabber has pulled even, and Rasmusen Reports finds that a majority of those senile geezers in the Sunshine State have slipped a cog:
Sixty percent (60%) of Florida voters now approve of the job Crist is doing as governor, up three points from a month ago.
This is an emergency, people: Go support Marco Rubio now!
UPDATE: A source just contacted me to call attention to another slime threat in Florida. Rick Scott jumped into the Florida GOP gubernatorial primary, calling himself “pro-life,” when he profited by running a hospital chain that performs abortions. Scott’s Republican rival, Florida Attorney General Bill McCollum, explains:
“In his most egregious attempt yet to run from questions of his role in overseeing massive Medicare fraud, Rick Scott is now claiming he is a ‘pro-life leader’ who allegedly believes ‘every life is worth defending’. Unfortunately for some, this couldn’t be farther from the truth.
“As the disgraced CEO of Columbia/HCA, Rick Scott profited from elective abortions performed at his hospitals. He can say he’s pro-life, but when he could have created a ‘culture of life’ policy to stop abortions, he didn’t – the company had this policy throughout his tenure and continues it today. Rick Scott just collected the money that his hospitals made off of abortions and bought himself an $11 million home on the beach in Florida. . . .”
Here’s video of Scott talking to Republicans in Collier County, and trying to shift the blame:
The background is here. It’s OK to be a pro-choice Republican or a gay Republican, but it’s not OK to be a lying Republican.

This really makes no sense. I hear if Charlie Christ touches you your skin turns orange and your hair goes white.
Don’t do it Florida.

Well it is likely voters, who knows how many of those people aren’t paying attention yet or never do for that matter. Why this guys approval rating is going up I have no idea. I know he’s using the oil spill for all it’s worth. How many of the pro lifers know he’s scrubbed all mention of being pro-life off his website? On Saturday a friend of mine was at the Tampa Bay Storm game turns out it was the coaches 200th win so they were playing congratulations from former players on the jumbo screen. Well Charlie Crist’s face pops up but no one knows what he said since the crowd erupted in boos loud enough to drown out the PA system in the St. Pete Times Forum. So I don’t know what’s going on, other than Meek doesn’t appear to be a viable candidate so he has no support state wide so they’ve migrated over to Chuckles. Also the local radio updates are saying Crist has a slight lead over Rubio who you get “slight lead” from 37-37 is beyond me.

Please pardon the rant:
I really do not care what politicians call themselves – pro-life, pro-choice, pro-abortion-at-age-10, but I really do care what they do with those principles.
If you are running for the US Senate, call yourself pro-life, but wouldn’t filibuster a Roe-supporting nominee, then you’re no better than Obama.
If you’re running for Governor, or you are the Governor, and you think that legislation which requires clinics to allow women to see ultrasounds of their unborn children is “mean-spirited”, then you’re a baby-killing SOB, no matter what label you slap on your anti-life philosophy.
On the other hand, I know so-called-pro-choice politicians who have actively reached out to the pro-life community to find common ground, such as ways to reduce abortions, support families, and eliminate some egregious anti-life policies, like partial-birth abortion. Give me one of those any day over these pansywaists who call themselves pro-life but really don’t care if we dismember four thousand children a day, so long as they get their votes.

I was thinking about that oil spill. Who ever stops that leak will be an American Hero, you would think someone from the Obama administration would put on some tights, and don a cape 😉

As a Floridian I laugh at Charlie and look forward to his defeat. I am confident that he will go down in flames, the more he parrots Obama the fewer independents he will win.
No Tarballs or oil in Tampa Bay, come on down!

While Charlie is certainly no real Republican, he was technically claiming to be one until recently. Looking at these polling results, the thing that jumps out at me is that in a state that Barack Obama won, the registered Democrat can’t get above 15% in a race against a Republican and a pseudo-republican. Wow. People talked about the Republican brand being damaged after Bush, and certainly its a little dinged up, but how badly is the Democrat brand damaged when their official party candidate can’t get one out of six voters in a state they won a year and a half earlier?
