Scott Brown: Taking Sexy Back

Wow, how did I miss this story?

Long before he was a politician, the Republican candidate vying for Ted Kennedy’s U.S. Senate seat posed nude for the centerfold of Cosmo. Scott Brown won our “America’s Sexiest Man” contest and appeared in the June 1982 issue. In those days he was a 22-year-old law student at Boston College who was cramming for finals just days before stripping down for our photographer.

(Hat-tip: I Own the World.) This September item at Cosmo‘s Web site was almost certainly an opposition-research hit from the Coakley campaign. The Democratic idiots probably figured that the revelation that Brown had posed nude when he was 22 would hurt him with the “value voters.” But for every stuffy prude who was offended by the Cosmo pictures, the Republican candidate picked up at least three votes from chicks with a non-partisan admiration for his bod.

Hey, I can relate. The Great Speedo Scandal of 2009 failed to derail my quest for blogospheric success. Don’t hate me for my freedom.

UPDATE: You know who really digs a sexy right-wing dude? Little Miss Attila. Just sayin’ . . .

UPDATE II: The aforesaid Attila now informs me that Ace of Spades already had this yesterday.

Darn that Ace! How does he always get the sexy nude beefcake photos before I do? It’s almost like he spends all his spare time looking for that stuff. But that makes no sense, because if that was the decisive factor, Charles Johnson would have had this photo before either Ace or even Hillbuzz.

    Well, Little Miss Attila is not the only one. Wow. This is interesting. Scotty McHotty indeed. He should grow a beard, because I like that. I think I am going to have to get back to P-Town (which I usually avoid in the winter) and have the hubby vote for Brown (unforunately I can’t vote because I am still not a citizen).

    Because I am a conservative and all. No dope smoking at the beach either. I promise.

    The guys at ‘Hillbuzz’ have been all over this. In fact they encourage using it as much as possible. They like to say ‘The angle is the centerfold’ because this centerfold could get him lots of attention… and really, how can if be negative?

    HillBuzz also has a great nickname for Scotto Brown… ‘Hottie McAwesome’. Like all good nicknames it’s funny because it’s true. Scotto Brown is both hot and awesome!

This inspires me to bring forth a renewed verve in execution of Rule 5. If this doesn’t inspire Allysa Milano to get on the ball with retweeting you,she’s a lost cause.
